    This is a nice, well kept campsite. The porta potty was the cleanest I've experienced. It was unfortunate timing but they were doing work on the dam so the water level was low and lowering as we were there. We weren't notified of this until a week before our dates. If the water was up, it would have been top notch. Four stars for the over priced firewood. $8 for a 5 piece bundle is too much.

    It had a beautiful lake view and very peaceful and quiet. We had the large group site so we weren’t right on top of other campers. The only downfall was it only had 1 water hookup and no flat areas for the motorhome. We had 2 motorhomes, a truck with cab over camper and a tent and still plenty of room for more. Would definitely stay there again.

    Very welcoming and inviting staff. No issues with getting checked in/out, set up. We had a small issue with the coin showers not working on the last day of our stay, but the staff was super helpful in refunding the money spent. Overall, no complaints and we would definitely stay again.

    Positive: Lake was refreshing, showers were warm, permanent toilets were decent to use, helpful that they have charging stations and free wifi (it it was working). The camping store had essentials and was not overpriced. Negative: Wifi was not working most of the time. They reported that starlink was down across the country. Portable bathrooms were loaded with waste. They desperately needed to be cleaned and emptied. The campsite was not conducive to those who camp in tents. They did not give us a spot that was level nor a spot with trees to provide some shade throughout the day. If you advertise tent spots, then provide some spots that cater to those with tents. Most of the park seems to be reserved by people who own the spots year round. Interesting...I wish they sold food at the camping store. Would have been nice to have smore and other snack options.

    The campsite is great, right on the water. Would be amazing if there were power hookups for RV’s, and more items in the store. Overall great family camping spot!
