Positive: Lake was refreshing, showers were warm, permanent toilets were decent to use, helpful that they have charging stations and free wifi (it it was working). The camping store had essentials and was not overpriced. Negative: Wifi was not working most of the time. They reported that starlink was down across the country. Portable bathrooms were loaded with waste. They desperately needed to be cleaned and emptied. The campsite was not conducive to those who camp in tents. They did not give us a spot that was level nor a spot with trees to provide some shade throughout the day. If you advertise tent spots, then provide some spots that cater to those with tents. Most of the park seems to be reserved by people who own the spots year round. Interesting...I wish they sold food at the camping store. Would have been nice to have smore and other snack options.
