Buffalo Run RV Park — Reviews

No firepits, only 3 ft between us and the next camper. No showers. We only were passing through for one night so it was OK for what we needed.

Affordable stop for an overnight stay located close to Rt35 with full hookup at a pull through site.

Only 1 other camper there :) Not a bad place. Pretty level spots, restrooms were so so, men's shower had no shower curtain. All in all it was decent for a 1 night stay.

We reserved a 50 amp pull-thru. We were given a tentative site number of 4 in our email. When we arrived, someone was already in site 4. There is nobody on site, so called the number and got voicemail. They did return the call after some time. We told them the issue, and said we pulled into a different site but it was only 30 amp and we really require 50. The only other (2) 50 amp sites were not safe to use as the shore power connections did not appear safe to use. The campground was mowed nicely and very close to the Interstate so easy on and off. The sites are very close together. We never saw anyone around that may have been owners/ managers and we arrived early afternoon.

Spaces clearly marked and level. Great location just off the interstate and close to Loves Travel Plaza. Restroom clean. Shower room is okay with water pressure fairly low. One night to sleep is fine.

This is a bare bones RV park. It was all I needed for the one night stay while passing through. Don't expect any amenities. This park is right off the highway with very easy access to and from the highway. It's far enough of the highway that you don't have the highway noise. It rained pretty hard the night we were there and there were some pretty deep puddles around the site to deal with while tearing down. No one at the office, just find your site, pull in, set up.

I have a fairly large 5th wheel so I had to be careful cause things are a little tight. I would stay again however.

The Park is self serve, which is fine, but the facilities are not well maintained. The restroom/bathhouse is not a conditioned space, heat and AC, was not clean, did not have soap for the sink, and I used the last of the toilet paper. Also, the women’s restroom door was open the entire time we were there. There were two other campers there during our stay and they both appeared to be long term with one of them very run down. The pull through sites are very small, ie I had to pull the travel trailer up so we wouldn’t step out of the camper and hit the adjoining spots breaker box. Would not recommend Buffalo Run.

Unable to dump and get water. An overnight rainstorm filled the gullies and holes in the grass so basically impassible.

Very clean and nice campground

The owner is very friendly and helpful. Water, electric and sewer all worked great! Super quiet location, very close to a Love's gas station and only one minute away from Interstate 35.

The sites are small. We are a 35' fifth wheel plus truck, and we had to back up a couple of times to get into our spot. We made it, but anything bigger than us will probably not fit. Other than that, the park is nice.

We liked our stay at Buffalo Run, and appreciated that you let us switch spots! We will be back again next year!

This is a small place, easy to get to, close to highway. We used it as a stop on our travels north to home. Pleasantly surprised to have internet to stream. Facilities could have been cleaner but we really didn't need to use. For what we needed this was great, would stop again.

It was ok for just an over night as we were on our way to Branson and it was windy .

Definitely served our needs for the night. Close to I35 and a gas station. Quiet.

Stayed here 3 times in the last year. Level sites, quiet, nothing fancy. Owner is responsive and friendly!

Great little family owned campground! Right off the interstate with a gas station right up the road for convenience. We had full hook ups. Campground was very well kept! There are two small restrooms, no showers. These were also well taken care of. Perfect place if you are looking for a quick stop. Very peaceful!! Would recommend for sure!
