We enjoy our stays at Buffalo Lake. The weather was great and our camping spot was very nice.

Stay was fine. Loved the new prices. Fishing wasn't good but you can't always catch good ones.

Nice park for longer stays not so good for passing through one nighters, off the beaten path, don’t come in after dark lots of low hanging limbs, stay away from loop A & B if you have a big rig, electric sewer and water hookups are on passenger side of sites, other than that its a really nice area, pretty lake, quite and peaceful We stayed one night, not many campers ouur MH would not fit on site I reserved it was not 46 feet long parking area, so we just found a site that would work Would not stay here again if i was just passing through Also they ding you $10 a vehicle to pass through the gate we were towing a dingy so tack on a 20 dollar bill to het through the gate

The campground was original built in 1957. The camp spots are very tight for trailers and RVs. We have a 25" trailer. The hookups are on the wrong side of the trailer so when you step out your door you get to see the sewer/water/electric hookups and step over all the cords. In addition to the camping fee, be aware there is a park entrance fee of $14 a person per day. Expensive spot for an outdated campground.

Our RV spot was nothing but dirt and the water pressure was very low. The spot was at a slant, can't really sit with our chairs and enjoy on a slanted dirt spot.

No privacy, rules not enforced. Tent sites are to close together. Kids running thru your campsite . Shouldn't allow no more than 8 to a campsite like state parks do. Will not visit again. Everything has gone downhill.

Water front spots are really unlevel. Better for campers with auto leveling.

No level pads. It was opened in 1957, and it appears that no upkeep has occurred since then. There was a massive plant nearby, and it had a massive ear-splitting steam discharge lasting for four early morning hours. Even though we reserved the campsite online, there was a twenty-dollar upcharge for assessing the park. Some sites require parking backend to backend, with the first arrival grabbing the utilities under the second person's picnic table.
