Karen at the front gate was sweet but we didn’t get a map or anything for the campsites we ended up camping in the wrong area. None of the phone numbers on the website work to communicate with someone for questions. So we set up camp in the wrong area then police came to let us know hours after we had set up our tent they were kind and let us stay there since it was freezing cold and it was late and no one was really at the lake. My main issue is that we didn’t have a map to see where we were going, no signs either. The website needs major work. It doesn’t announce that you need to buy tickets prior to arriving. Also, the fees during purchase are really misleading instead of saying the campsite is $27 you should just put the $32 because that’s how much it actually is. There’s no way around the fees because you can’t buy a pass at the gate. Navigating the site was confusing. These are issues with the website creation all this could be fixed with a good website layout and explanation of what is going on.

It was good---just wish it had wi-fi. It's a beautiful lake and we love camping there. Added bonus.........a few hundred geese were hanging out there during their migration while we camped.

Very few other campers this time of year. It was quiet and we didn't have to deal with all the loud crazy people and their ATV's running all over the roads and through the campsites.

Campsites are confusing and not well laid out. Too many kids on 4 wheelers running through our site. The camping fee doubled more or less due to the entry fee.

Very quiet and peaceful. Main boat ramp was closed, but we were able to use the small one. We really enjoyed our stay.
