Buffalo Springs Lake Campground — Reviews

The site was beautiful and right on the lake. The bathrooms need to be cleaned more frequently for the amount of people out there and the water was out for several hours on Saturday. There was a member of staff at the front gate that was incredibly rude when we were coming back in. For this amount of money, services and staff should be much better. There are cheaper places to stay that are a lot cleaner and friendlier.

some expensive camping , seems like a ton of rules when reserving but isn’t that bad, clean campsites pretty rocky though compared to some pictures shown . good restrooms and dollar general nearby

Really calm and welcoming, great place for family fishing, felt safe at night, law enforcement patrolling which is good

I enjoyed my stay so much. I can't wait to come back at the end of the month. The camps are very well maintained and clean.

this is the only place in the city that has a nice view of a lake. the only place that we have that is really camping not An TV park.

We loved our stay! We had to come home early to take of some things. It was not as long as we wanted to stay but we got our money’s worth! Our favorite place to stay. We love the friendly people that work there and have made great friends with some of the people that live out there. There was a great fundraiser bake sale that we spent lots of money on great goodies! We also went to church on Sunday at the little chapel. The people were so friendly and welcoming, we will definitely go again. We had a breaker blow on the poll, so we called the office and they were there in just a few minutes to fix it. One day one of the officers stopped by just to check on us. Make sure we were enjoying ourselves!!!! We were the only ones out there on our side of the lake for a few nights. Great trip!!!

Decent place, nice area, reasonably clean. However, extremely low water pressure doing the nighttime (for whatever reason), and the camping price is OK but after they add on the mandatory daily 'entrance fees' per person (as if you can somehow 'camp' without 'entering') the total is not reasonable.

Because, the RV parking pads are in poor condition. Trees are over grown and need trimming. Some dump PVC pipes have no cover and smell is bad. Water lines are bent, some wrapped with plastic, rags, tape. Roads have terrible holes around RV pads. Major drops around RV pads because dirt is washed away. Area needs upgrading. RV area needs improvement. John

We always enjoy staying at Buffalo Springs Lake. It was very quiet and peaceful. The price of camping is really good also. Thank you!

Beautiful weekend. Noisy RV a few sites down from where we were. Dump station we went to was full and overflowing. One of the bathroom stalls (men’s) was covered in diarrhea.

Restroom are warm and clean Very quiet and pond is beautiful Nice place to relax and ride our bikes

The spot was very broken (the asphalt) which made it hard to drive on. It was a nice spot other than that

Overall the campground is very pretty. Some of the RV sites are almost impossible to get in, A29 for example, but many are ok. The camp hosts were incredible and helped us change to a spot that was doable. The RV campsites with only water and electricity are the best and layout makes sense.

Hard to find RV spot in the dark. Power box shared with adjacent spot, was unable to plug in due to length. Shower was open to restroom with no curtain.

Nice peaceful weekend. The shower water could have been a bit warmer.

I was a little confused with the available spots verses the spots available on the web site it was totally different. Website beefs to stay updated as spots are available.
