We loved the size and location of our spot. The campground was clean, quiet, and enjoyable. Only minor thing was the lack of stool or bench in shower changing area for clothes and items.

Great staff. Loved that they were fixing up the sites. Love that it was geared towards families.

We had a good stay, impressed by the extracurricular activities offered and the facility in general. However, being without our grandkids, it wasn't the camping experience we were seeking. Too crowded and busy for 'old folks!' 😆

A very nice park that is great for families! Main issue was the water hookup was missing for our lot so we had to have them come out and figure out where we could connect too as we paid for electric and water. They were fast and helpful with that. Kids enjoyed the many activities! Will be going again.

Our reserved site was changed the day before arrival, and we were stuck in a site facing the restroom/shower facility near children's activity location. Staff was not willing to offer any type of refund, or change our site stating they were booked solid, which couldn't have been the case considering there were quite a few sites available our entire time there. Also, the smell of marijuana was prevalent during our stay, so I am to assume campground "rules" are not enforced. The new owner's should invest in customer service and satisfaction to insure repeat campers and better reviews.

The park was a pleasant surprise! It was very clean with great staff and amenities! Our site was spacious and perfect for our needs. There is a lot of workers around improving the area daily. The area is centrally located to several beaches/ towns and hiking trails. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful park

Beautiful place and lots of upgrades. Pool was clean and lots of cement pads for trailers. Bathrooms are clean and kept up.

New owners are making great changes! Park was clean and well maintained, staff was very welcoming, and lots of activities for the kids. We will come back!

Writing Everything about this campground was amazing, and the staff was phenomenal. We arrived late, well past office hours, but the team had already notified security and made sure everything was set up for our arrival. Because it was so late, we accidentally set up on the open site next to the one assigned to us without realizing it. The next morning, the staff graciously switched us to that site so we didn’t have to move everything. During our stay, we also experienced car trouble and had to call AAA for one of our vehicles. The security guard was incredibly accommodating and even personally escorted the driver back to our campsite at 11:30 p.m. This campground truly exceeded our expectations. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The bathrooms were clean, the grounds were well maintained, and the pools were spotless. I would absolutely recommend Camp 89 to anyone looking for a great camping experience.

Campground seems to be very organized. And clean. Disappointed there is no public Wi-Fi. Also charging $15 for an early check-in it's kind of a racket. Especially if the lot is unoccupied when you arrive. Overall we will probably Camp here again

Clean and friendly

We had an amazing time and this campground is first class. Very Friendly staff, park is very well maintained, and has lots of amenities. The put put golf course is beautifully built and we really enjoyed the pond, waterfalls and serenity of this place.

This campground is amazing! The staff is friendly & helpful with information on things to do & see in the area. It's very clean, they have plenty to keep you busy. Putt Putt, golf carts you can rent, go cats and a heated pool. Prices won't break the bank! I didnt see a bad camp spot and was very happy with ours! We will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay !! Such a beautiful property, nice staff , and plenty to do with kids. We can wait to return. The location is great as well. Close to downtown Grand Haven which is always a treat to visit!

Nice park sites were uneven and fire pits could be upgraded but all and all it was nice and clean
