 CAMP Rules & Policies
Welcome to CAMP — Your New Hampshire Retreat

To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and respectful environment for all guests, please read and
follow the rules below. These apply to all CAMP properties.

Arrivals, Stays and Departures
Guests must register at the office upon arrival — both overnight and dayuse visitors.
Check-In: Campsites: 1:00 PM; Cabins/Cottages: 1:00 PM
Check-Out: 11:00 AM
Early check-in/late check-out subject to approval of Management and possible fees. Please
call ahead if you will be arriving after hours.
Full payment is required at the time of booking. (seasonals must be paid in full by April 1 of
upcoming season).
Early departures for any reason are not eligible for refunds.
We cannot guarantee the same site if you choose to extend your stay. Check with
management for a possible extension.
Disorderly conduct, disorderly intoxication, underage drinking and loud and/or disruptive
behavior is not permitted, and you can be asked to leave the campground day or night.
Please inform Management if there is unacceptable behavior near you and we will address
the situation.
Please note, CAMP parks are located within close proximity to local law enforcement who
can and will patrol the park from time to time and will enforce laws.
There is a maximum of (6) total persons per site. Our rates are based on 2 adults and 3
children under 18. Additional children under 3 are free. Additional adults are 10 dollars per
person per night.
Our Wifi is complimentary and is not part of your site fee. During peak usage times data
speeds may be slower.
There is a picnic table on your site. Do not take picnic tables from unoccupied sites. If you
are camping with friends and want to move their table to your site, please put it back when
you leave.

Personal letter mail may not be sent to the campground. Important packages can, but must
be addressed to Camp at Newfound Lake, C/O your registered name and site number.
Visitors must check-in and pay in full at the office upon arrival. They will need to place a
visitors pass on the dash of their car. Each site is allowed one car for visitors. Each day
visitor will be charged a fee of $5 and $10 for each overnight visitor. Children three and
under will not be charged. If visitor’s car exceeds the amount allowed on the site, they
must park in overflow parking for $10 a night. Check out is by 9:00 PM for day visitors
and 10:00 AM the following day for overnight visitors.
We reserve the right to evict anyone for inappropriate behavior at any time at the discretion
of ownership. Please keep CAMP rules in mind as they are there for every camper’s safety
and enjoyment of the park.

Parking, Vehicle & Site Regulations
Speed Limit: 5 MPH throughout the park — strictly enforced.
Extra vehicles and guest vehicles must be cleared for parking on your site by management if
there is not additional room there is overflow parking when available. Please call ahead if
you have more than one car and are concerned about parking.
Vehicle Limit: Depending on size of your RV, 1 (or 2) vehicle may fit on your site. Extra
parking for cars, boats and trailers may be available for an additional charge. If you run a
big rig or long rig please contact us in advance to ensure there is enough space. We are
happy to accommodate when and where we can.
Parking permits are issued at check-in (all vehicles must have permits visibly displayed at
ALL times). All your guests must pay to visit, be registered and have parking permits. Keep
in mind, up to 2 vehicles can fit on a site and we offer limited guest parking.
All vehicles, including RV, must have current registration, inspection and license plates. All
campers and vehicles must be in a departure ready operational condition. No type of
mechanical repair, whether to vehicle or RV, is allowed without prior approval of CAMP
Management. All vehicles must fit on your site. No part of the vehicle can be on the grass.
Parking is allowed in designated parking areas only. Parking in vacant RV sites or on road
will result in the vehicle being towed at owner’s expense.
Site Parking: No parking on roads, grass or other sites.
Site Capacity: Maximum of 6 persons per site unless otherwise approved.
No tents or carpets are to be placed on grass unless designated as a usable space.
Do not wash campers or vehicles, or waste water at any time. Please report any leaks you
see to the office.

Parking is allowed in designated parking areas only. Parking in vacant RV sites or on road
will result in the vehicle being towed at owner’s expense.
Charging electric vehicles is not permitted at CAMP.
Generators must be turned off during quiet hours. If your generator is exhibiting a more
than normal amount of noise you will be asked to turn it off day or night.
Operating mini bikes, scooters, ATVs or any other motorized recreational vehicle is not
permitted on CAMP grounds.
Bicycle riding is limited to roads, no cutting through campsites or riding after dusk.

RV Sites
We reserve the right to refuse service to any camper based on its appearance and/or
condition. If yours is 10yrs old or older please send us pics before booking online.
Only one RV is allowed per campsite. (Large group bookings approved by Management are
the only exception).
Steps should be the right size for your rig, and not hand-made. Decking is not allowed unless
approved by CAMP Management.
Although we have steady pressure, Pressure Regulators are recommended for your water
connection. Please don't take the backflow preventers on our faucets, they are not pressure
regulators.
It is NH State mandate that your sewer and/or gray water hose be kept in an accordion and
have a sewer connection (sewer collar/donut) attached to prevent sewer gasses from
escaping. Tank is to be kept closed, unless dumping.

Cabins
Each cabin is inspected and cleaned before arrivals. We ask that you do
your part to keep them maintained during your stay.
Guest cannot use their own personal heaters or air conditioners in the camping cabins.
Pets are not permitted in CAMP cabins.

Tent Sites
Maximum 2 tents per site. Site fee includes 2 adults and 3 children. Children under 3 are
free.
Water is available to you either at your site or by a nearby spigot. CAMP Staff will let you
know where you can wash your dishes as well.
Fires & Grilling
Firewood is for sale at the CAMP store.
Campfires are allowed only in designated fire rings. Fire rings are not to be moved by
anyone other than CAMP Staff. Please ask Management if you would like to relocate your
fire ring.
Fires must be attended at all times and extinguished by midnight.
Do not throw cigarettes, bottle caps or beer cans in the fire pit. Please extinguish fires
before heading to bed for the night. You are welcome to bring your own firewood, but it
must be approved by the State of NH, which means no out of state wood. Please bring
receipt in case of State Inspection to avoid fines. NH has these restrictions to prevent bug
destruction of local wood species. We do sell local authorized wood for your convenience.
Do not cut, chop or break any living trees or shrubs for your CAMP fire.
Grills permitted; please dispose of coals properly.
Pets – We love pets at CAMP!
Owners are responsible for their pets actions while staying at CAMP.
The following breed animals are not allowed at CAMP – Pit Bulls and Pitbull mixes,
Rottweilers, Dobermans, Mastiffs, Chows, and wolf-mixes.
Pets are very welcome at CAMP but must:
• Must be leashed at all times (max 6 ft leash).
• Not be left unattended.
• Be picked up after (bags provided at stations).
• Remain quiet—excessive barking not permitted.
No pets allowed in Cabins, buildings, playgrounds, beach or water areas.
Animals must be taken with you if you leave the campground.

Maximum of 2 animals per site. Rabies/Vaccine paperwork are required prior to check-in.
Service Animals may be excepted by CAMP Management.
If your animal exhibits aggressive behavior, you will be asked to remove your pet from
CAMP.
Animals cannot be tied outside and/or left unattended.
Portable animal pens are not allowed on the grass.
Guests must pick up after their animals. Please place waste bags in the dumpster or at a Pet
Station. You may also walk your animals along our nature trail but you still have to bag up
their waste. Please do not let your animals urinate on the grass at your site.
Animals are not allowed in the office, shower room, laundry room, Rec hall, playground or
any applicable Community Rec areas.
You may leave your animal in the RV if you leave the park for a day trip as long as the
climate allows for it and you have adequate ventilation and temperature control. You must
leave your mobile number at office in case your animals are causing excessive barking or in
case of power outage.
Water Areas & Rivers/Brooks
No lifeguard on duty — swim at your own risk.
Hours: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (weather permitting)
Children who cannot swim or are under 14 must be accompanied and supervised by an
adult.
Proper swim attire required (no street clothes).
No bathing or using soap in any of the water areas, rivers, or brooks.
No glass or alcohol in water areas.
Please help us keep the outdoors wild and beautiful by picking up after yourself when
leaving water areas.
Please note: Fishing in New Hampshire requires a license which can be purchased locally.
Quiet Hours
10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Please keep music, voices, and activities low.
Children

Children must be at their campsite during quiet hours.
Parents are responsible for the conduct their children while at the campground. No children
under the age of 12 can be at the game-room or playground unsupervised. No one under the
age of 18 can camp without an adult present.
Showers, Laundry & Restrooms
Facilities open 24/7 (may vary by site).
All bathroom showers are coin operated. Coins are available in the office.
Showers and Bathrooms are cleaned daily.
Smoking is prohibited in all CAMP Facilities.
Pets are not allowed in showers, bathrooms or laundry facilities
Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult in all facilities.
Keep facilities clean for everyone’s enjoyment.
We are on a septic system. Do not flush paper towels, diapers, baby wipes, feminine
products, condoms, needles, food, grease, or anything other than RV safe toilet paper. If rule
is broken you will be held liable.
The bathrooms and shower rooms are open 24 hrs/day. Please leave facilities clean when
you leave. Please only flush RV toilet paper down the toilets. Please notify office if there is
any problem. Laundry soap and quarters for them and showers are available in the store.
Conduct & Safety
The use or display of any weapon on CAMP grounds is strictly prohibited and will result in
an introduction to local and/or state law enforcement.
Disorderly conduct, intoxication, illegal substances, or disrespect toward staff/guests will
result in immediate removal without refund.
Chain saws are not allowed on grounds.
Smoking is prohibited within all CAMP Facilities and buildings.
No tents are to be pitched on RV Sites unless approved by Management.

Firearms, fireworks, and explosives are strictly prohibited.
Bicycles, scooters, skateboards must yield to pedestrians and vehicles.

State Law prohibits the dumping of gray water on grounds.
Visitors
All visitors must register at the office and pay a day-use fee.
You may host visitors for the day. For legal and insurance reasons, each visitor must
register at office, pay the visitor fee, and obtain a visitor car pass. They must park their
vehicle on your site or an approved space; and, must be in your company.
A visitor is not allowed to stay overnight unless the guest overnight fee is paid. We will eject
campers who sneak in overnighters with no refund. Strictly enforced.
Visitors must leave by 9:00 PM.
Maximum 4 visitors per site at any one time.
Lodges and Recreation Centers
Please treat CAMP Lodges and Recreation Centers as if they were your own. If there are
damages to CAMP property by anyone staying at CAMP you will be held liable.
Smoking is not permitted in the Clubhouse/Rec center.
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult or older child. Parents are
responsible for damage caused by children.
Site Maintenance & Trash
Sites must be kept clean and clutter-free.
Garbage must be bagged and placed in designated dumpsters.
Only normal camping trash may be placed in dumpsters. No carpets, broken chairs,
furniture, appliances, etc. Large items cannot be placed in dumpster, please take them with
you when you leave. Please break down your boxes.
We do not pick up trash. Campers are responsible to dump their trash in our dumpster.
No clotheslines, indoor furniture, or excessive decorations permitted in trash.
Long-term guests may be asked to maintain tidy appearances and limit outdoor personal
items.
Cancellations & Refunds

No refunds due to weather or early departure.

Kayaks, Rentals & Activities
Rentals and schedules vary by campground. Please see camp office or website for activity
hours and rules.
