Very cozy peaceful setting! Everyone was super friendly, met some new great people and the place was very clean! We will definitely visit again! Thank you for a great weekend!

Beautiful place and just enjoyable to be there

This place is beautiful! Our family has been coming for a couple of years. There are always improvements to the sites/cabins. Courtney, the owner is very helpful. We love it so much we make it a family reunion at Camp Deer Trails every summer!

The Forest Cabin was great! It's very similar to a studio apartment but it has 5 beds, a mini fridge, and a microwave. Electricity is a plus so you can charge phones and plug in fans as needed, it did include a fireplace which would be great for winter camping!

Clean quiet campground, small beach areas with a beautiful lake, we camp the rustic sites every year. Clean restrooms and outdoor showers. About 10 minutes from town.

Beautiful campground! Love that its back in the woods and quiet. We had great spots with a grassy area for the kids to play right behind us. Showers and bathrooms were very clean. Beach area was great too! We will be back!!

This is one of our favorite campgrounds! Very safe & family friendly place. We rustic camp and use the bathrooms & showers every day! No complaints and we will be back!

We had a wonderful stay in Camp Deer Trails. The campground is well maintained and clean. The cabins are adequately spaced apart for added privacy. Beautiful views!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The waterfront tent sites were perfect & we loved the easy access to the water. The campground is rustic, but the bathhouse was clean & outdoor showers were so cool! The owner was friendly and accommodating, and we loved how dog-friendly the campground was. Can’t wait to come back!

We love this place!

A great private campground on a beautiful lake. There was a wedding going on over the weekend and the camp owner was nice enough to move my site so that I wouldn't be bothered by the wedding activities. I think my new site was even nicer than the one I booked. Clean bathrooms and the outdoor showers are a fun touch.

We used the electric campsites for three nights. The setting was perfect, nice and open! Short walk to the water where we could enjoy the lake. We will definitely be back!!

Property was so beautiful and had plenty of privacy while still being able to get assistance when needed. So many options on how to camp, glamp and stay here!

Place has potential but needs some tlc. Picnic tables, bathrooms, fire pits, etc. could all use some love or replacement

Rustic waterfront was great and spacious. Enjoyed the get away weekend.

Pros: Beautiful scenery and shallow sandy lake. Quiet area with a number of facilities and places to stay. Canoe/kayak rental $5/hr, they also have paddle boats(water bikes) Cons: Firewood was gone by Friday afternoon and the office was closed on the weekend. Tent sites are very close together on waterfront. There must be a military base nearby as they were continuously firing something from 10pm-6am

The beach was covered in goose poop, the playground was just very small and dirty, there wasn't any activities for the kids to do, the map of the campground was nothing like the layout of the actual campground, and the public showers were outside showers.
