Camp Margaritaville RV Resort Breaux Bridge — Reviews

What a lovely campground located right off I10. Office staff were welcoming and helpful. It’s a large park with level concrete pads, a lovely pool and bar. We stayed on a pull through site that was large enough for our 45ft coach and tow.

Our campsite was covered with green algae which I slipped and hit my head on the concrete. Bruised ribs and whiplash kind of ruined the weekend.

Great place especially with a covered spot. Only thing was the mosquitoes were horrible but all was great besides that.

The employee's were friendly and very knowledgeable of the facility. The facility is kept clean.

Pools, live music, and Fast Track.

Nice/clean place. The only reason I did not give it 5/5 stars was because of the smoking and eating in the pool.

We arrived on Thursday evening and intended to get food from the snack bar for our four grandchildren. It had closed early for no discernible reason. We Had seen on the website that miniature golf was included in the The site but found out that it had not been included for at least a year. UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE! We paid for a premium Camp site but had no fire pit and had to walk two streets over with our hotdogs and Smore fixings in order to cook for our four grandchildren. We were told to go to the website for information but found it severely lacking in details. We paid for Internet, which we are used to have an included in our fee but it was absolutely horrible. A complete waste of money. We will not be back. We will tell our friends and family not to waste their money

Campsite was huge and recommended by everyone we met RV’ing. Sites were nice. Paid for internet but it was spotty. Would say I was connected but nothing would load from any website. I switched to cellular and sites would load. Saw other reviews on google saying the same. I tried to connect to the site cable line and signal was very blurry. But who vacations to stay connected and watch tv. Pools were nice but lots of bugs in pool. We did see every morning workers cleaning the pool so that was a plus. Quite a few of the dryers were out of order in the laundry rooms so that was a bit of a bummer. It was turned in and told it would be look into by maintenance. Overall with the rush of July 4th weekend I’d say they did really good. We stayed until Thursday July 7th and park was quite empty which made pool and other common areas less packed. Kids loved it so we will stay again. Lots of return campers from the people we spoke with.

Great place for family vacation

It was great…. 2 improvements.. 1. Adult pool should be open as long as the other pools…. 2. You should be informed about needing a bracelet to pay for food and drinks when you check in..

We had a great time! Very friendly staff.

Overpriced ,crowded, difficult to maneuver a large camper. Music allowed to be played way to loud too late at night. More Party atmosphere than family.

Excellent park. Sites were very large and plenty of space between sites. Quiet time was strictly enforced.
