We love site 54 and will try to book it when ever we can. The only reason for a 4 was the lack of the pool. Which we understand was not your fault and we appreciated the 10% discount. I'll be talking to Dottie about next years visit... Thanks, Herb and Cindy...

We were disappointed with the camp ground for several reasons. 1. When we first arrived there was someone else camped in our campsite. No one in the office and I couldn’t find anyone to help us. Eventually I did and they gave us another spot for the week. This site was in the middle and while it was a bit bigger we were hoping to be on the end of the row. When we went to the office the next morning to check in; the only thing they said was - this never happens. A sincere apology and a credit for our stay would have been nice since we were the ones inconvenienced not the person in our spot. 2. The campground was a bit difficult to get to; there was some kind of event happening near the campground and the roads were blocked. Would have been nice to know this event was happening. So we would have been prepared for the closed roads. When you’re pulling a toy hauler it’s not easy to turn around. 3. I was looking forward to sitting by the pool. The pool was being remodeled and unusable. Would have been nice to know that; we would have looked forward another campground. There was nothing about the pool not being available on their site. Very disappointing. These are a few reasons why we will not be staying at Camp and Water Campground anytime in the future nor will we recommend the campground.

It was a nice spot on the water with a nice clubhouse, although I wish it was open in the evening to play games or watch TV. Nice restrooms and showers. Outside games to play. Unfortunately, the pool was undergoing a major renovation. Bikeable to other marinas to take boat tours on the Homosassa River.

We love staying here, everyone are so friendly,m. It’s also close to so many amazing seafood restaurants, and right on the water where you can launch your boat or kayaks to float minutes away to great restaurants, manatees, and Monkey Island.

Informed office on day 1 we did not have 50 amps. Was told it would be looked at the next morning. Checked several times, continually told “tomorrow”. Repairman never showed up during our stay. Luckily we limped along on 30 amps

Wonderful place to get away from it all. Cabins and grounds are super clean and well kept. Looking forward to our next visit!

friendly helpful staff, good food and beverages

Pros: Clean and everyone was friendly.. Cons: they don’t provide a firepit, the clubhouse closes at 4 (game room, meeting space, enclosed non-bug area to share a meal with friends/family on site, etc) and there’s a ‘heated’ pool but Dec-March is a bit too cold for an open air heated pool—wish they had a hot tub. Good to know: —bring bug spray, the no seeums are on another level due to the water frontage. —if you’re going to Crystal River or 3 sisters: there is a kayak/SUP launch behind the Wells Fargo on 19 near SE paradise point. Go there to avoid paddling the open water surrounded by boats and wakes and tourists. Especially with kids on your board 😵‍💫. You can enter there and paddle the calm spring right to the manatee area.

Very nice quaint campground, friendly staff , quiet. Would definitely stay again.

The campground is one of the cleanest we have been to. The facilities are like new and so clean! Pull through sites are a plus

Very clean facilities. No see ums pretty bad early and late day. Burn ban prevented me from using my enclosed fire pit although several people had large open fire pits going.

Wow! What a great camp! Super clean facilities! Very friendly/easy check in after hours. I can't wait to stay there again!

WiFi access was impossible to access and very slow. Even if I was able to get onto my phone by wifi - I would loose wifi right away. Not WiFi friendly.
