Camp QYB Policies & Rules

General:

  1. Guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves and/or their children.
  2. Guest assumes any and all risks associated with the foregoing and agrees to hold Park harmless from and indemnify Park against the same.
  3. The Park is not responsible for personal injuries or damage, loss or theft of any personal property or vehicle.
  4. We reserve the right to evict any person(s) who does not comply with the rules and policies.
  5. The total number of guests in any space cannot exceed the maximum capacity for that site.
    1. Maximum 10 total people allowed per RV site. A nightly charge applies for guests over 8.
    2. Maximum 8 total people allowed in Rustic Cabins, Owner's Cabin, Lake House, and Seaside Cabins.
    3. Maximum 4 total people allowed in Wagons and Large Vessels.
    4. Maximum 2 total people allowed in Airstreams, Small Vessels and Tiny Cabins.
  6. Maintenance on and/or washing vehicles on property is not allowed.
  7. All spaces are to be kept neat and clean for the duration of your stay.
  8. Only 1 vehicle allowed per site unless stated otherwise.
  9. DO NOT leave trash out overnight.

Safety:

  1. The use of Firearms of any kind is PROHIBITED in the Park.
  2. The use of archery, paintball, slingshots or air guns is PROHIBITED.
  3. Fireworks of any kind are PROHIBITED.
  4. Use of illegal drugs is PROHIBITED.
  5. Obnoxious behavior of ANY kind is PROHIBITED.
  6. The speed limit on property is 5 mph.
  7. Vehicles may park in designated spaces only. No vehicles can block any portion of roadway.
  8. Only persons with a valid driver’s license may operate a motor vehicle in the Park.
  9. Vandalism of any kind by anyone in your group (regardless of age) may result in eviction from the Park.

Security:

  1. Management is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged articles. Keep your valuables locked up.
  2. Report any problems with your site to Management immediately.
  3. We adhere to and maintain all state, county, and local laws on property.

Quiet Hours:

  1. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
  2. Please be courteous to other guests around you.
  3. Loud music or objectionable noise is not allowed at any time.
  4. Inconsiderate guests will be evicted from the park.
  5. Profanity or violence towards other guests or Park staff will result in immediate eviction from the park.
  6. Guests violating rules that result in eviction notice will not receive any refunds for their stay.

Pet Policy:

  1. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whose pet is NOT considered suitable to the serenity/safety of our guests or the Park.
  2. Pets must be kept on a leash under the control of someone who can always manage all animals.
  3. There is a 2 pet limit in the Park. An additional fee per pet applies for all lodging units.
  4. No exotic or oversized pets are permitted. This includes all reptiles or large birds.
  5. All Pets must be registered with Management upon arrival.
  6. Pets may not be left outside unattended.
  7. Guests are responsible to “clean up” after their pets.
  8. Guests should carry proof of their pet's current vaccinations.
  9. Pets are prohibited in Park buildings and amenity areas.
  10. The Park is not responsible for and will hold accountable pet owners for any injury or damage caused by pet(s).
  11. Service animals may accompany a disabled person without any proof of disability or certification for the service animal.

Booking Policy:

The full reservation total is required at the time of booking for all stays, regardless of length.

Cancellation and Refund Policies:

  • Reservations cancelled at least 30 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund.
  • Reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival receive no refund.
  • No shows and early departures receive no refund.

SMS Privacy Policy

  • We will not share or sell subscriber information with 3rd parties for their direct marketing purposes.
  • No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.
  • All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
  • By selecting the Opt-in on the Reservation Confirmation Link Guests Agree To Receive Marketing SMS.
  • Guests may receive a SMS prior/during/after their stay with us; Message Frequency Varies.

Release of Liability

Read Carefully – This Affects Your Legal Rights

In exchange for participation in the activity of Camp QYB Lodging & Equipment Rentals organized by Camp Quitcherbichin, of 175 Oak Hill Circle, Runaway Bay, Texas, 76426 and/or use of the property, facilities, and services of Camp Quitcherbichin, I agree for myself and (if applicable) for the members of my party, to the following:

1. Agreement To Follow Directions.

I agree to observe and obey all posted rules and warnings, and further agree to follow any oral instructions or directions given by Camp Quitcherbichin, or the employees, representatives, or agents of Camp Quitcherbichin.

2. Assumption of the Risks and Release.

I recognize that there are certain inherent risks associated with the above-described activity and I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself and (if applicable) my family members, and further release and discharge Camp Quitcherbichin for injury, loss, or damage arising out of my or my family's use of or presence upon the facilities of Camp Quitcherbichin, whether caused by the fault of myself, my family, Camp Quitcherbichin or other third parties.

3. Indemnification.

I agree to indemnify and defend Camp Quitcherbichin against all claims, causes of action, damages, judgments, costs, or expenses, including attorney fees and other litigation costs, which may in any way arise from my or my family's use of or presence upon the facilities of Camp Quitcherbichin.

4. Fees.

I agree to pay for all damages to the facilities of Camp Quitcherbichin caused by any negligent, reckless, or willful actions by me or my family.

5. Applicable Law.

Any legal or equitable claim that may arise from participation in the above shall be resolved under Texas law.

6. No Duress.

I agree and acknowledge that I am under no pressure or duress to sign this agreement and that I have been given a reasonable opportunity to review it before signing. I further agree and acknowledge that I am free to have my own legal counsel review this agreement if I so desire. I further agree and acknowledge that Camp Quitcherbichin has offered to refund any fees I have paid to use its facilities if I choose not to sign this agreement.

7. Arm's Length Agreement.

This agreement and each of its terms are the product of an arm's length negotiation between the Parties. In the event any ambiguity is found to exist in the interpretation of this agreement or any of its provisions, the Parties explicitly reject the application of any legal or equitable rule of interpretation which would lead to a construction either 'for' or 'against' a particular party based upon their status as the drafter of a specific term, language, or provision.

8. Enforceability.

The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of this agreement, whether standing alone or as applied to a particular occurrence or circumstance, shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of this agreement or of any other applications of such provision. Such invalid or unenforceable provision shall be deemed not to be a part of this agreement.

I HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT AND UNDERSTAND IT. I FURTHER UNDERSTAND THAT BY SIGNING THIS RELEASE, I VOLUNTARILY SURRENDER CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS.
