CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES - 
Check-in begins at 2:00 PM. Check-out is before 11:00 AM.

EARLY CHECK-IN - 
Early check-in before 2:00 PM may be available for an additional $10 fee, based on site availability and occupancy. Early check-in before 11:00 AM may not be available due to previous reservations on your site. Please call us at 419-626-1133 to see if early check-in is available for your site.

LATE ARRIVALS - 
Late arrival packets with your site location will be available at the front of the office for guests arriving after the office closes. Late arrivals will incur an additional $10 fee to prepare. You must pay your balance in full before your arrival. If you plan to arrive late, please call 419-626-1133 to make these arrangements.

EARLY DEPARTURES - 
If you choose to check out early for any reason, the unused portion of your stay is non-refundable.

NO-SHOWS - 
No refunds are issued for no-shows. If you do not arrive by 11:00 AM on the day after your scheduled arrival, your reservation will be considered a no-show and may be canceled and released.

CANCELLATIONS - 
Cancellations made more than 3 days before arrival, or the scheduled use date, will incur a cancellation fee equal to 1 night per site for overnight reservations. Eligible add-ons will be refunded in full, and any remaining payment will be refunded to the original payment method.
For RV stays of 28+ nights, the 50% deposit is non-refundable and will be forfeited if the reservation is canceled more than 3 days before arrival.
Cancellations made 3 days or less before arrival or on the scheduled use date are non-refundable, and no portion of the reservation or add-on payment will be refunded.

ACTS OF GOD AND NATURE - 
Camping is an outdoor activity. Camp Sandusky will not issue refunds for weather conditions or other Acts of God, including but not limited to storms, rain, heat, cold, insects, wildlife, road closures, or other natural events beyond our control.

PAYMENTS / DEPOSITS / OUTSTANDING BALANCES - 
Camp Sandusky is a cashless campground; cash is not accepted on-site. All reservation balances, store purchases, and other campground charges must be paid by credit or debit card using chip, swipe, or contactless methods.
For reservations made 4 or more days before arrival, the minimum deposit is the first night, plus taxes and fees. Reservations made 3 days or less before arrival must be paid in full at the time of booking.
For approved RV stays of 28 nights or more, a non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the total is required at the time of booking.
Any outstanding balance will be auto-charged 3 days before check-in. All balances must be paid in full before arrival.

REFUNDS - 
All eligible refunds will be processed back to the original card or payment method used at the time of purchase. Refund timing may vary depending on your financial institution.

SPECIAL REQUESTS - 
While we guarantee your chosen site type and amenities, our automated optimization system may change your site number. You can guarantee your chosen site number by paying a $20 lock site fee. However, we will refund the fee if we have to relocate your reservation due to site maintenance or an Act of God and Nature.

VEHICLES / PARKING PASSES - 
Only one vehicle can park at each campsite, including any vehicle used to transport the RV unit. One parking pass will be provided free of charge for this vehicle.
Extra vehicles must pay a $5 per-night fee for a parking pass that allows them to park in the main parking lot.

ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING -
Charging electric vehicles from campsite pedestals or any other campground electrical source is prohibited. Vehicles may not be parked at adjacent, vacant, or unassigned sites for charging. Unauthorized EV charging may result in additional fees and/or removal without refund.

GOLF CARTS - 
Guest-owned golf carts are permitted. All operators must hold a valid driver's license and follow campground traffic rules, speed limits, and yield to pedestrians at all times. Reckless or unsafe operation is strictly prohibited. Golf carts may be operated on campground roads only and are not permitted in grassy areas or pedestrian zones. Headlights are required after dark. Camp Sandusky reserves the right to restrict, revoke, or impose additional requirements for golf cart use at any time.

OCCUPANCY SURCHARGE - 
Each site has an occupancy limit. A fee of $5 per night will apply for each person beyond the included occupancy, up to the maximum occupancy allowed. The maximum occupancy includes all overnight guests and visitors.

PETS - 
Pets are permitted only in RV sites and designated Pet-Friendly Cabins. Violations will result in a minimum cleaning and damage fee of $100. Each Pet-Friendly site is limited to two pets, and a $5 daily fee applies for each additional pet. Pets must be registered with the office, leashed at all times, and not left unattended. Owners must clean up after their pets and are responsible for any pet-related damage. Aggressive breeds are prohibited. Disruptive behavior may result in removal without refund. Vaccination records for pets must be available upon request. Service animals must remain under the handler's control at all times. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by a service animal. A service animal may be removed if it is out of control, not housebroken, or otherwise creates a safety issue.

CABINS - 
Remember to bring your pillows and bed linens.
A $25 fee will be charged at check-out for lost or non-returned keys. However, we will refund the fee if the key is returned via mail or in person.
Personal AC units or electric heaters are not allowed. Violations will result in a minimum fee of $100. We recommend using box fans in the summer and electric blankets in the cooler months.

RVs - 
RVs with 50A service are not permitted on 30A sites, even with an adapter. Please reserve a 50A site if your RV requires 50A power.

TENTS - 
Tents are permitted only on designated tent sites or on Wide RV sites when an RV is occupying the site. Tents are prohibited on all other RV sites and cabin lots. All tents must comply with the site type's limits, including tent quantity and size restrictions described in the site listing. Tents, ropes, and stakes must remain within the assigned site's boundaries. Personal air-conditioning units and electric heaters are not permitted in tents. Violations may result in a minimum fee of $100.

PICNIC TABLES - 
Do not move picnic tables from other sites to yours. You should bring tables if you need more than one. We will charge a $10 per-day fee for moving tables.

MAIL DELIVERY - 
We cannot accept or sign for mail or packages for campground guests. Please make arrangements with the Post Office for mail delivery.

TRASH / GARBAGE - 
Always leave the campground cleaner than you found it. We will charge a $100/hr cleaning fee for excessive trash left on sites or in cabins. Trash bags are available at the office, and there are various trash receptacles throughout the campground.
Please do not burn trash in the fire rings.

DAMAGES - 
By making a reservation, you authorize Camp Sandusky to charge your credit card for any damages, replacement of property, or labor costs associated with property damage, including damage done by guests or pets to your site or cabin.

WARNING: Under Ohio law, there is no liability for an injury to or death of a camper or visitor to this campground if that injury or death results from the risk inherent to camping. Inherent risks to camping include, but are not limited to, the risk of injury inherent to land features, equipment, animals, or the negligent actions of the camper or visitor. You are assuming the risk of participating in camping.
