We enjoyed walking our dog along the path by the creek. The campground was quiet. While sites are close together, they are well maintained.

The camp sites are right on the river so peaceful! The campground is in a narrow valley very little wind while there. It’s was neatly kept but not a resort, which is exactly what I like. The sites are spacious, flat,and gravel, water electric and sewer worked as expected. Bathrooms were great, water was hot. It was very cold while we were there heater is located right outside the showers.They have on-site laundry that is super reasonably priced. The owners are super nice people! My son and theirs had a good time hanging out together. I cannot say one negative thing about Catawba Falls campground Parker (I think was his name) and Kim you guys have a great place keep it up. We’ll be back.

We loved that the campground seemed quiet and private with easy access to I-40. Also, loved that our camper site had full hookups. We really enjoyed our stay!

Campground was great! Very basic with all of our needs. I hate to give a great review bc we liked it so much and want to come back, we wish we could keep it a secret! We brought our kids and 2 dogs and everything went great! Family friendly campground

Solid campground in a beautiful setting. Very nice staff and very reasonable rate. Bathroom could have been better and the rv spaces are a little narrow are my only minor complaints. Overall we enjoyed it and will be back.

We had the best time ever. Such a wonderful park and great proximately to Asheville and Lake James. Kim and Parks went above and beyond to help with everything. Highly recommend!

Friendly, helpful staff, clean bathhouse, convenient store, and the stream on the property is really beautiful. But it is not a remote campground—it's close to a road on the edge of a town, so if you want a wilderness experience you'll need to hike out somewhere. Great choice for low-key, easy camping with nature nearby.
