What to Expect & Be Prepared For
Welcome to Cayuga Wine Trail Campground & Cabins— a place to reconnect with nature, slow down, and experience the wild beauty of the Finger Lakes. We’re not a resort. We’re the real outdoors. Here’s what that means:
⚡
This is a Rustic, Natural Setting
We are located in a wild, forested area.
You may hear owls at night, see deer at dawn, and yes — occasionally, a spider or frog might say hello.Blackouts can happen during storms or strong winds.
We do our best to help as we can but power blackouts are beyond anyones control. Please bring a flashlight or headlamp, and be ready for occasional delays or disruptions of service.
💧
Water Delivery & Flow
Water on-site is fresh and drinkable, but may take a moment to flow at full pressure—especially during dry spells or peak usage hours.
Please be patient ⏳
🛶
Come Prepared
We recommend bringing:
Flashlights or lanterns
Bug spray
Warm layers for cool nights
A sense of adventure
And maybe a good book — Wi-Fi can be spotty!
🌿
Respect the Land
Leave no trace: take all trash with you or use designated bins.
Do not feed wildlife or leave food out.
Stick to paths and designated areas to protect plants and wildlife habitats.
Enjoy nature without taking it home in your cooler or on your shoes
💚
Be Kind, Be Flexible
Sometimes, nature surprises us. A little rain, a curious raccoon, or a delay in something minor—it’s part of the magic.
Come with an open heart, and you’ll leave with great memories.

Additional Campground Policies
Guests from the road: All visitors must register at the office and receive a visitor pass.
Seasonal guests: All seasonal guests are required to read and sign the updated campground policy.
Extended stays: If you decide to extend your stay, rates will be calculated from the beginning of your current reservation period — they do not simply add on to previous daily rates.
Water leaks or damages caused by negligence: If a leak or faulty equipment issue occurs due to guest negligence (e.g., not properly shutting off water valves), financial responsibility may be imposed on the guest. We want to avoid any situation where a negligence causes water shortages for others.
Conserve utilities: Please conserve water and electricity. Doing so helps respect the needs of all guests — and of the planet.
Speed limit: The speed limit on the property is 5 mph. Please drive slowly, and be mindful of children and the peace of other guests.
Zero tolerance for violence or discrimination: Any acts of violence, harassment, or discrimination will be reported and may result in immediate removal from the premises.
Non-political space: This is a nature-focused, inclusive environment. Political banners, flags, or slogans are not permitted. We welcome all races, religions, and political beliefs — but this is a space to disconnect from labels and reconnect with nature.
