Cedar Point Campground — Reviews

Our stay was great, unfortunately it rained the whole weekend. Go figure, we haven’t had rain in a month and a half and then here comes the remnants of a hurricane. The campground is very nice! We would definitely come back.

We stayed on site 14 and it was a terrible site. We could not get our camper level. When booking sites there should be more info about each site as to what to expect. We will never book there again. Barton Springs is where we usually camp and all their sites are outstanding.

We had the best vacation ever at Cedar Point Campground! The weather was perfect, the folks were nice, and the sites were large and shaded. I highly recommend Cedar Point Campground for your next outdoor getaway!

Easy to book, friendly check-in, roomy spaces, clean facilities, peaceful and beautiful campground.

Bath houses, both of them were in horrible condition, doors falling off hinges, no working door latch, center bath house smelled of urine so bad you could not stand be to in there long enough to even wash your hands. Spider webs everywhere in shower area. No ventilation at all, not even a small fan. Mold on shower curtain. It was ridiculous. We will not be back.

My family and I really loved the space and scenery. The area was very clean and the response to my issues were addressed in the most timely manner. We will be revisiting

Very relaxing. Lakefront sites 11,13,15 and 19 are great spots. We live local and this is our getaway campground.

The bathhouse needs a good cleaning. not being able to pull the boat up to our campsite was a big negative, I realize that is not the fault of the camp hosts.

Clean beautiful sites, friendly staff and clean facilities made this a great place to stay

We have a 37 foot 5th wheel and it was a little challenging getting in. The sites are definitely not very level at all. It was a good thing we were here the last weekend they were open because we had to change sites 4 times. But staff and management were nice and accommodating. Sites and Bathrooms were clean. Overall nice little campground.

The Camp host are fantastic, we had an issue with the electrical plug and he came and fixed it very quickly! Had a great visit, very peaceful!

Cedar Point is a beautiful campground with a great view of the lake. I recommend that you scope out the campsites before reserving anything if you have an rv, as many of the sites are not level. On the down side, many visitors have dogs, and it can sound like a kennel at times, at least one was running loose and peed on my tires. Also, the desk person wasn’t very friendly when I checked in and almost literally threw my credentials at me with no explanation as to where our site was and then she finally decided she ought to open the gate for us.

As of today Cedar Point is our favorite campground ! Absolutely loved it,Its a very beautiful lake. Nice and quiet, lots of fishing and swimming. They also have the option (Honey Wagon) to come pump your tanks if your in a spot without sewer hookup. Definitely gonna book with them again!
