good facility but we did not see any one working the sites after someone leaves. grill on the campfire ring needs to be replaced. we will be back next year.

Well, I thought the grounds needed some grooming. The area just outside restrooms need to be swept, as does the inside. Floors should be mopped regularly. There just seems to be general maintenance lacking overall. It is to nice a local campground that we love to go to see it not being well maintained.

The puncture vine was terrible. That was our big complaint. While riding our bikes we ended up with two flat tires. That not withstanding we’ve stayed here several times and enjoyed our stays. If you enjoy kayaking this park is wonderful. We will be back again and hopefully the puncture vines will be gone.

It was a good stay, other than the large mounds of dirt, caused by moles, near our camper entrance. They chewed a hole through our rug. Other than that, we love this campground. Spaces are large and very comfortable. Campground is kept up very well.

Would have given higher rating but our sites sewer dump was plugged & when we went to leave & dump, it backed up all over. Site #6

The cabin was nice. Really appreciated the small refrigerator and the air conditioner as the weather was still very warm. The porches on the cabins with the rocking chair and small table were also great to have. Shower facilities were very limited and cold water only while we were there.

The park has facilities from Trenton to motor homes. The park is on an island, has a swimming beach floor people and another one for dogs. We were in site #1. There were some goathead weeds between our site and the building with the restroom and showers. The restrooms and showers were not inviting. The park accommodates small boats and other floating activities and would be a fun place for families and reunions in the summer.

Liked location, cleanliness of the park grounds, convenience of docks, easy loading ramp, nice cabin, staff and friendly young lady at the check in. Didn't like the bathrooms, could be cleaner and no hot water. Overall good, I will be back. Thank you.

So many spiders and goat heads! Bathrooms all dirty and no toilet paper. Park has amazing infrastructure but just really run down, it’s quite sad for such an awesome spot!

The playground wasn't maintained and was over taken by large spiders.

Great swimming beach. My husband n I took are granddaughters their n they loved it. Plus they went fishing n had a blast. We seen quail everyday around. The only down side was goat heads that are everywhere it was hard on are dog getting them in her feet .

Bathrooms not clean. Grass dry, not watered. More weeds than grass. Doesn't seem to be maintained well.

There were Spiders EVERYWHERE! You could not walk through the trees without getting covered in webs. When packing up we had spiders and egg sacks on all of our stuff. The bath house didn't have hot water. Also not much watering or mowing and the kids couldn't play on the playground because of bees and spiders.

Campground dirty and in disrepair. We stayed in cabin which is quite a distance from the filthy broken restroom and shower facility. Had to walk on dried weeds to access the cabin we were in. The futon cover zipper was broken and kept coming off futon. The shower was only cold shower and the previous coin operated hot water was damaged. The toilet paper was in short supply and garbage never emptied. The bathroom floor was clearly not swept or mopped for a long time. The campground was very dry and weeds were rather high around our trailer parking. The campground host allowed campfires when a statewide burn ban was in effect which put entire camp in danger as it was a very dry area that could have gotten out of control. Every bathroom facility was in need of repair. This used to be a beautiful state park but clearly the current owners do not care about keeping it a nice place to be. I will never use this facility again.

Though the camp host were very friendly - the campground was a hot mess. Puncture vine (goat head stickers) EVERYWHERE as well as star thistle very little green grass. Would not recommend for tent campers, dogs or small children.
