The campground was very nice with exceptional customer service to boot.

I loved the clean cottage!! It smelled sooo clean and good! I loved the boardwalk and the pool. The staff was sooo helpful and kind and welcoming. We will definitely will be back!

Linens were just left in the room, the beds were not made. The shower hadn't been cleaned either.

The campground was a really great campground right on the water. My issue wasn't the mosquitoes as much as it was the flies, and I know there's not much to campground could do about that. The only complaint I have is when we first checked in, We decided to extend one additional night. On the last night I got an email that if we extend it we could get up to 25% off. I asked about this when we checked out, and the lady behind the counter said because I had my military discount I wasn't eligible for any more discounts. About 5% was not gonna break me, I guess it was just the point and the person looked kinda lost when I asked about it. The last thing I will mention, which again has nothing to do with the campsite had to do with being a dog friendly town. Chincoteague is not dog friendly. Very few places allowed us to bring our dog to eat dinner even if it was outside. And the beach was protected and so therefore your dog was not even allowed to be in your car with you to drive around. So if you have a furry friend that you travel with as I do, Just consider this.

Very quaint brand new facility with a great pool

We had a cabin with a great view and wonderful breeze most all the time.

We are seasoned campers from NY state and were excited to try glamping in one of the fully furnished tents. The staff were all very friendly and helpful but we kept running into problems with the glamping tent accommodations. There was no walk through at check in or paperwork to confirm the state of the tent and that all dishes and utensils were accounted for. There were no mugs, sponges, or dish drying rack supplied but a small amount of dish soap and one dish towel was provided. The refrigerator was overheating upon arrival because it was closed into a cabinet . The cabinet door had to stay open to allow the refrigerator to operate properly and the door was in the way when moving through the tent. A supporting rod for the front of the tent was halfway out and had to be fixed upon our arrival. The vanity in the bathroom is not fixed to the wall or floor and movement from the sink caused the sink trap to loosen and leak water onto some of the towels stored there the first night. Our toilet kept running on its own and reduced our overall water pressure. This was fixed but it took multiple calls. There was water leaking around the bottom of the toilet but it was minimal and not addressed by the staff during our stay (we did inform them). Our master bed broke the last morning because it was incorrectly installed (the center support was not in place) and we suspect it was not weight-rated for 2 grown adults. The bed was fixed quickly but it was still an inconvenience. The resort overall was well-kept and the pool was very nice. Unfortunately, the pool closed very early during the week, 6pm most nights, when the norm at other resorts is generally dusk or sunset. We persevered and made it work for this trip but will probably not come back for another stay at this resort.

Our family of 5 had the best July 4th - EVER! Already planning next years. One of the canopy at the pool ripped and was not in use during the hottest/humid days of July but still had an awesome time.

We absolutely loved staying at the glamping tent here. The location is beautiful and the amenities are great. The rooms were clean and had everything one would require for a pleasant stay. We can’t wait to come back here.

Fantastic place to stay! Beautiful location, great cottages, and friendly staff.

Everything was wonderful! The facilities, staff and location all excellent.

I give this only 2 stars because, 1) The sites are basically dirt. Very little grass. 2) No dog park. When you advertise you are a "Resort" and "dog friendly" you should have a dog park. Simply walking a dog on a leash is not enough. Dogs need to run, chase a ball, or a frisbee etc. 3) Overpriced. For the reasons already stated, I do not consider this campground a good value. For what they charge, I should not be able to name one thing I dislike about the place.

The Glamping tent and staff were wonderful! The sight along the Water Front was absolutely worth it. The shower water gave off a "off smell" but didn't ruin our experience ! Will defiantly be returning!
