Super friendly and helpful staff. Edward the maintenance man even gave me a boost when my battery died🙏 The sites are well maintained and the warm bathrooms a real treat when there was a cold wind! Not my first time but definitely not my last!

Clean, well‑kept site in a beautiful location. Just be aware there’s no potable water on-site. It’s noted in the terms, and I missed it—that part’s on me. Just come prepared.

It was raining, so it wasn’t great.

Our stay started off with a 6 hour water outage on the 25th from 9:15 am to 3:15 pm. This continued off and on throughout our stay. Some electrical problem they were having and the management was away on a break. It was scary to have a shower because you were unsure if you would get the soap off or on.... Other than that some of the cottages need to be upgraded in certain areas. Maintenance needs work with outside and inside issues. Great area to visit for scenery and wild life!

Beautiful beach and grassy campsites. Washroom and showers need some updating but the showers were fantastic! Cluxewe Campground is a very friendly camp with friendly and helpful camphosts.

We had a great stay. View was stunning being on the ocean. Washrooms/showers are clean. Nice big playground

Our car broke down and they let us stay in the parking lot while we fixed it. Also they helped us to have our daughter and her family next to ours for the extra day we needed to stay. The Ladies in the office were always very nice and helpful. The price was vert reasonable. The beach was beautiful.

Always a great campsite and the owners and staff are amazing. We go every year with our radio club to do maintenance on the towers and this site is very close and everybody seems to love being there. The bathrooms are always clean nice to have showers and the sights are all very nice water is always good now that the treatment plant is there but can't wait until you're able to drink it that should be soon. Always a nice walk out to the point and out to the estuary Where the River meets the ocean. We will be back I believe this is a every year stay for us we love it out there and we love the North Island can't wait till next year!

Very nice campgrounds. Clean, well maintained, quiet and peaceful. Great views of the ocean and estuary.

We don’t Csmpspot for booking a site! We really prefer the phone call reservation.

Cell service and wifi is off and on, needs for improvement. It doesn’t have drinkable water, so fill your trailer before coming , restaurant is closed still. Washrooms weren’t fully stocked with toilet paper at times there was none and only two toilets in woman washroom in the building were the laundry mat is. Dryers work awesome and only cost $2 a load and everything was dry. Washers are $2 a load Remember to bring loonies for laundry and showers. Showers had nice pressure and were $2 for 6 mins. Twoonies will not work on showers or laundry it only takes loonies. It is very Beautiful there 5/5 Staff was amazing 5/5 I would have given it 5/5 if there was drinkable water there but because there wasn’t I gave it 4/5. The store also didn’t have much in it , needs maybe some fishing stuff, camping stuff and more snacks in there.

We'd definitely stay here again. Great vibe. Bare bones but very reasonable rates. Lots of beauty in the area.
