Great quiet campground. Very clean showers and laundry. No onsite property manager or host but can be easy reached by phone. It’s next to Forest Service land so you can walk your dogs for miles if you want.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The camp hosts are really nice and helpful. The facilities are clean and inviting. The surrounding area is very beautiful, deer came through the area every morning and evening. The 30 amp outlet was a little sketchy, but worked fine. Sites have full hookups.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Conejos River Campground! The staff was very nice, we loved the peace & quiet, and the walking trail into the national forest land and by the river is AWESOME.

Wonderful stay! The showers and bathrooms were clean, and the location is conveniently close to the river. The hosts were fantastic—friendly and welcoming. They even surprised my kiddo with homemade cupcakes, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. I’ll definitely be returning!

We only got to stay for one night on our journey but it was a great location. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is for trivial things. We arrived just past the closing time for the laundry and based on the pictures from the app, the river was not as near to the camp sites as we thought. There were large RV pull-ins/pull throughs. I did see cabins and a nice looking adult rec area. Along the main entrance there is a playground for kids and horseshoe pit. The main house/office had clean large bathroom/shower facilities, as well as the laundry. The views in the area are all majestic. The entire camp ground is well maintained.

We were so excited to come back on our way home from a cross country trip. We stayed here before and had a great experience. This time we were put on the other side. The 30amp plug was so low to the ground it was difficult to plug in. And the water spout was upside down which made it impossible to attach my water filter. We checked in after hours so there was no one to speak to. It was a different experience from our first stay. ;(
