All good except there was a co stant amount of loud traffic noise. Using earplugs did help quite a bit.

Nice relaxing place. Beautiful view of the Sandia mountains. Next to the Rio Grand. They even have a beach area, not really but that’s what it says. Our site had water and electric. The water is on the other side so make sure you have a long enough hose. No sewer at the site but it does have a dump station. Sites have a covered patio with a picnic table. The men’s bathroom was awful.

Rest rooms/showers are 3rd world nasty. I wouldn’t let my dogs use them. General site conditions were extremely poor with weeds growing everywhere and the shelters were very dirty with sand and blowing tumble weeds stacked up. There seemed to be little to no effort by park staff to clean up. When we pulled in there appeared to be a homeless person camped out in the first shelter. It turned out to be the camp host! I have stayed here before and it was about a 3-4 on the rating scale. I can hardly give it a one now because there isn’t a half star.

This is the cutest campground, with little Casitas at every site. It was a clean park with clean bathrooms. I hope to be back.

THE CAMPGROUND HAD BEEN UPDATED RECENTLY. IT WAS NOT TAKEN CARE OF. CAMP HOST AREA WAS A MESS. IT SEEMS THAT THERE ARE SEVERAL PEOPLE LIVING IN THE CAMPGROUND AND HAVE JUNK IN THEIR AREAS. THE STRUCTURES ARE NICE. NOISY NEAR THE BUSY ROAD. IT COULD BE A FANTASTIC CAMPGROUND. BATHROOM WAS NICE AND CLEAN.

Gave four stars because the covered outdoor tables at each site were top notch. Only downfall was lots of street noise made it hard to sleep.

Cheap price. Water supply was way too far away. We don't carry a 50' hose with us. Shower water was barely Luke warm.

Sites are pretty roomy for a city campground. Fairly good bargain at $35 with power and water, with a dump station onsite. The little patio, shade structures with picnic table were nice and we made good use of them. Restrooms could use some work but we’re serviceable.
