Terms & Conditions
Cottonwood Lakes Campground (CLC) Terms and Conditions
Check In / Check Out - Check in is at 2 PM and entitles you to your site until 11 AM the date
of your scheduled departure. Early check in is not permitted. Late check-ins are allowed at any
time, please contact the CLC office for instructions. If you are staying in our park for a week or
longer, we require an agreement to be signed. Please contact park for more details.
There is an “early set up fee” of $10 for anyone wanting to check in the night before, get camper
backed in and set up on site and return the next day to begin camping.
Site Changes - You have been assigned a specific site. If you wish to move please check with
the CLC office.
Open Fires - Open fires are not allowed. Fires must be at a designated fire ring at your site. Please do not move your fire ring.
Speed Limit - The park speed limit is 5 mph. This policy is to keep you, your children, and your
pets safe. Exceeding this speed limit will result in a warning. Multiple warnings may require you
to leave the campground. Safety is our number one priority for our guests.
Parking - Parking is available in the grass around the outer perimeter of the campground. Please do not park
your vehicle at your site or in an adjacent site. Use of more than one site will result in additional
charges.
Site and Park Navigation - Please be respectful of your neighbor and do not walk between sites
when navigating the park. Please use main gravel roads, driveway and public
paths to walk around the campground.
Golf Carts – Golf carts and side by sides are prohibited from driving around the campground. If
you arrive on a street legal golf cart or side by side, please park in the designated parking areas
around the perimeter of the campground.
Pet Policy - We ask that you keep your pets on a leash at all times. This helps you, your pet, and
other guests and other guests’ pets stay safe. Pets are not allowed in the playground, beach or
swimming area or any of the CLC buildings. Do not leave your pet unattended in the
campground for any reason. Please clean up after your pet and do not allow pet waste or litter
anywhere on the campground. Excessive barking or other disturbances with your neighbors will
not be tolerated. Failure to follow the pet policy will be grounds for removal of the pet and/or the
campers from the campground.
Children - Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Riding bicycles
without a parent and on our main entrance road is prohibited for the safety of your children and
our incoming guests. Anyone under the age of 18 must be back at their site by dusk.
Children may not use the restrooms without being accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Quiet Time Policies - Quiet time is 10 PM to 8 AM. Anyone playing loud music will be warned
only once and then asked to leave without a refund.
Safety and Emergencies – If you have an emergency, please call 911 immediately. For non-
emergency support, please call Versailles Police department at 937-526-3712.
General Park Policies – Campers and their guests agree that the campground and its owners,
agents and employees are not liable for injuries or property damages resulting from such causes.
This campground is protected by Ohio Law ORC 3729.15. Entrance onto the campground
property constitutes permission for the campground to photograph anyone while on the premises
and to use any resulting pictures for any lawful purpose without compensation to the individual.
Campground owners have sole discretion on removing guests from the property for any reason.
Visitors - Only registered guests are permitted to enter the park. All visitors must stop in the
office to register, pay a fee and receive a parking pass. Visitors may not bring pets. CLC reserves
the right to limit the number of people visiting a site. Day visitors must depart by 10:00 pm.
Please check with the CLC office before inviting any visitors. Registered guests are responsible
for ensuring their visitors are properly registered and that all campground rules are followed.
Restrooms - For the comfort of all our guests, restrooms are open 24/7 with exception of a
temporary closing for cleaning once per day. We ask for your help in keeping the restrooms
clean. Guests under the age of 18 need adult supervision in the bathrooms and showers as well as
the pond area.
Ponds & Playground - No lifeguard is on duty. Swim at your own risk. The Ponds and
Playground open at 9 am after quiet time and closes at dusk. Anyone under 18 must be
supervised in these areas and all areas of the campground at all times. Horseplay, running, and
diving is not permitted in our pond area. Alcohol and Food is not permitted inside the pond,
beach and playground areas. Loud music, glass, and rough play are not permitted at our pond or
playground.
Electrical Use - You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in our
RV. Amp usage over the 50 AMPs provided can trip your breaker. Please be mindful of your
amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay. Please notify the office if you
have any electrical issues during your stay. Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical
pedestals per insurance and safety requirements.
Trash Disposal - Please bring your trash to the dumpster near the entrance. Please tie trash bags
completely closed and put your trash completely in one of the dumpters near the entrance.
Drones - Drones are not permitted in our campground.
Fireworks and Firearms - Fireworks and firearms are strictly prohibited in our park. The
prohibiting of fireworks includes sparklers, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers. The
prohibiting of firearms includes all guns including air soft, BB, and pellet guns. If these items are
seen outside of your RV, you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.
