Nice place but not State Park quality. Very clean, sites are small and close together. Lots of things to do for kids and adults. They work very hard to keep it safe, clean and fun.

This place was terrible! We specifically came here because the website said there were 41 acres in nature with shaded trails and fireworks for the 4th of July. Other campers saw the same and booked specifically for that reason, only to learn that there were no fireworks there, no trails, and also no WiFi or reliable cell service (specifically mentioned them having both on the website). I also didn’t see any canoe of paddle boat rentals as stated on their website and another review said golf carts were in short supply over the holiday- though we got at least 3 emails asking us to reserve one before our stay. As other reviews state, employees were incredibly rude, especially the girl from the store who wanted to ride around on the golf cart glaring at guests and complaining every chance she got. Our first night was spent in a hotel because the power went out shortly after we got there (we saw two guys messing around the electric box near the camp store and laughing at the smoke pouring out of it). We were told there was an accident down the road and that the power would be restored, it was, then it went out a second time and we were told it wouldn’t be back on until morning, so we left for the night. When heading to the hotel, there was definitely no accident in sight! You can’t make this up! The pool was okay, but crowded because of the holiday weekend, so we thought the empty splash pad would be nice- we were told by other guests that it couldn’t be used because sewage was backed up. All the negatives truly could be overlooked and chalked up to bad luck if not for the blatant lies on the campground website intended to lure people in. Apparently some people got a 20% discount when they complained about the fireworks, so probably everyone from the 4th of July weekend should be reimbursed for part of their stay as well, as we were all lied to. Don’t be like us and fall for the scam! Luxury campground pricing for accommodations not even on par with state parks.
