Nice older campground with plenty of amenities. Sites are very tight so drive slow around bends and pay attention to the campground map. The lake was really nice and peaceful, and we loved watching the swan swim around.

The person at the check-in desk did not seem to know much anbout the place, asked if there was a wi fi connection. She did not know. I asked about internet service and she replied she didn’t know for sure. Later i called about trash left on a site near me, the trash was still there when i left on Sunday

The original cabin we reserved they called me the day of to say it’s not available and gave us other options which was considered an upgrade which is fine but all of the beds had nasty mystery stains, which I know when camping and what not you can’t be TOO picky however all of us were grossed out. We grew up going here so to come back after a long time things obviously have changed and it’s all not for the best. The lake is soooo mossy and dirty and trashy you can’t even fish anymore (poor swan that lives in it) and the pool situation, it seems to be that staff doesn’t care about their frequent residents and visitors drinking alcohol at the pool and crowding around the stairs and giving attitude to people trying to use the stairs to get in and out, just childish but staff was laughing it up with them and didn’t care I guess. I digress, I still had a good time because I was with family, it was the place we grew up going to so going back was something we were excited for. Don’t know that we will be back.

Just an overnight stay but easy check in and great spots.

Unfortunately, when we arrived, our cabin location was changed to the back of the park. We had multiple friends staying all in one location and we were put far from them. We were told little A was under construction. Definitely did not look to be so. The staff was very nice and friendly. But we are bummed to be so far away from our large group this is our fifth year doing this and nothing like this have ever happened before.
