Cross Winds Family Campground — Reviews

The campground is very quiet and well maintained. The bath house is always clean and the showers are hot and have excellent water pressure.

Awesome campground and the staff is amazing

Park was easy to get to and was in a nice wooded area. Trees all around but only knock would be you can hear the interstate traffic in the distance.

Campground was very peaceful and not crowded this time of year. Sites were fairly far apart so privacy was noticeable and quite enjoyable. The campground wifi does not reach past the main office area. You will not have wifi at your site, so if you have school or work to do you'll have to try mobile hotspotting.

We stayed in section A. The sites were spacious and trees provided privacy. Level site. Very clean campground and friendly staff. Convenient for local attractions. Would recommend to a friend!

Very nice campground. A lot of sites are drive-through with mature trees for shade.

The service was first rate, from check in to park staff duties and checking out. Plus the layout is nice and lots are great.

It was a great experience being our first trip out!! Extremely friendly environment and very relaxing. We will be back!

Love the wooded spots the most. Everyone was so nice. Kids really enjoyed the pool. Did not make it to pond, but will definitely plan on it the next time.
