Cross Winds Family Campground — Reviews

This is our second time camping at Cross Winds campground. Our grandkids came and played at the park and the swimming pool they had a blast. Thank you for a safe and clean place to bring our family to.

Love Crosswinds Campground. Lots of trees. Great walking trails. Pool and laundry facilities. Staff are super nice. Camp sites are not close together.

The staff were very friendly and attentive to all needs and the safety of all kids. The pool was clean and well maintained. Bath house was very clean and HOT showers with good water pressure.

This is the second time that we have stayed at Cross Winds. The location is very convenient, everyone that works there are very friendly and professional. We will stay again. .

We had perfect weather for a weekend getaway. But most important is the place where we stayed. Always the friendliest folks. Clean grounds and great fishing!! Who could ask for more.

Nice stay. Campground was quiet and peaceful. Wished they’d took cards in office area for items. We would have bought memorabilia items from them. Staff are very nice. Our spot was unlevel - and a little complicated to get set up - Needs more gravel on the site - Seems it and one other site in that section hadn’t had the extra gravel added to assist in leveling up the area. Otherwise- it’s a great campground - quiet in A section, B section, C section is wooded with lots of shade and quiet. We had booked more than one site due to others coming to camp with us .

Lovely campground, quiet. Big sites surrounded by tall trees (our Starlink didn't like the trees, but I did). Nice place and people

The owner/ manager was very welcoming and accomodating. We were there just 1 night as we headed home. There was easy access on and off the interstate, the campground was very tidy, well maintained. We will likely visit again on our travels north and south.

This place was super quiet. We had lots of room to ourselves and the hook ups were some of the best we've seen. The playground was big enough for our 13 year old to play on. The fishing pond had great access and the ducks were sooo cute. Checking in was great and the lady at the desk even recommended a great place to eat.
