Everything about the place was absolutely wonderful. Clean nice campsites, friendly people. That is until the weekend hit, and what looks like a monthly camper showed up with two dogs that they proceeded to leave behind barking for hours. I would stay there again, but not anywhere near to that same spot (76.) Everywhere else appeared to be very quiet, even though I did see many dogs. By the way, we have a dog, so I’m not anti-dog.

When I called with questions before making a reservation I was told to go online and reserve my site there. No questions answered. It took some time as I was using my phone and connection was sketchy but I did reserve a Deluxe Waterfront Site for the dates I wanted. On the way there, I had a tire blow out on my Class C RV and had to spend the first night of my reservation in the tire repair parking lot. Did not get a credit for this missed night, which was ok but would have been nice. When I finally arrived at about 2 in the afternoon, the office was closed but my paperwork was taped to the door. There was a phone number posted. The disappointment came when I got to my site. It was waterfront, but not at all what I expected. It was a near a small bug infested swamp with a layer of green algae covering the water on this little frog pond. The website states that every site has lake views. Not the case! I was able to rent a golf cart so I could take my disabled mother to see the lake. I would have given only 1 star because I felt deceived by the site description and paid for a deluxe waterfront that I did not get and had to spend more money for the golf cart. Gave 2 stars because the park was attractive, well maintained and the showers were nice and clean. After visiting with others lakeside, I was told the majority of sites are seasonal and they all seemed happy there. Bottom line, don't waste your money paying extra for deluxe waterfront, you won't get it.
