While there, the campground can serve as the ideal location to camp as well as a home base, allowing you to travel to many nearby tourist/shopping areas. In addition to the local attractions, they offer many activities to keep you and your family occupied. On-site, you will find a swimming area, fishing, and kayaking on the eight-acre Lake Charles, a playground, and many walking and bike paths around the camp.

When we arrived and was setting up, I found that we were at a 50 amp spot and we didn't have an adapter to 30 amp. Went up to the office and they let us borrow one, at no charge. They also gave us some great info on surrounding attractions including Niagara Falls. The camp is clean and well kept. Plenty of trees for shade. Also, the camp is quiet/peaceful. The camp store is well stocked, including some vegetables for sale. Great place for a base to do your site seeing around NW New York. This is a privately owned site and you can tell they take pride in it. My only suggestion is that they invest in a Starlink system and offer wifi. We highly recommend Hartland Resort.
