We stayed in one of the cabins. The hosts were very nice and both the cabin and restrooms were clean. Not fancy but just what we needed for an overnight stay.

Nice campground. Excellent WiFi which was good because with all the trees, there wasn't a good spot to set up my Starlink. Very friendly boat in the campground store.

The first thing I noticed was all the trees and how shaded it was, it was like driving into an oasis. It was very crowded and had many long term campers. We just stayed for the night and I was very happy to have a place that I felt safe. The price was very reasonable for a full hook-up.

Very cozy. Full and still had easy access to clean bathrooms, showers and laundry. Hosts were cordial and genuine. Glad we stayed. Thank you.

Lovely shaded area was a nice respite from all of the full sun campgrounds we had come through in the Midwest. This campground is mostly suited toward families with children. Which, as retired campers, we did not necessarily use. But they did have a playground, a swimming pool, a game room, and a lot of space for children to safely bike on the Campground roads. I would highly recommend this for families. Also, it was close to Walmart.

The campground has been around awhile and could use some upgrades. Bathrooms, while fairly clean, need updating and expanded. Sites are very small and close together.

We booked Dakota Campground at the last minute due to a change and plans and were pleasantly surprised! Many private campgrounds lining the interstate are glorified parking lots with shabby amenities but this is a gem, heavily wooded and shady, with friendly hours and great vibe. The sites are close together, but if that's okay for you this place is awesome!

Nice clean park, well maintained. Owners where friendly. It is mostly treed, so if you use your dish there is high probability you won't get signal. Location is great to visit what Mitchell has to offer.

The campground was clean and very friendly. We had a problem with one of our slides and there was a resident repair man that was extremely helpful and fixed our problem.
