We booked Dakota Campground at the last minute due to a change and plans and were pleasantly surprised! Many private campgrounds lining the interstate are glorified parking lots with shabby amenities but this is a gem, heavily wooded and shady, with friendly hours and great vibe. The sites are close together, but if that's okay for you this place is awesome!

Nice clean park, well maintained. Owners where friendly. It is mostly treed, so if you use your dish there is high probability you won't get signal. Location is great to visit what Mitchell has to offer.
