Great campground for families, had a nice fenced in playground. Individual bathrooms with showers but need more ventilation and better cleaning throughout the day during events. Great price for full hook ups.

Our overnight stay was very peaceful. Early May before events start up at the fairgrounds was quiet. The camp hosts were delightful.

Made the reservation online but there was nobody at the campground when we got there to greet us. The campsite we reserved had a car parked on it but luckily the campground was pretty empty so we took a different site but it only had 30 amp when we paid for 50 amp. Didn’t feel like moving once we realized that. We were there for one night just to sleep. I think sites would have been a little tight for a bigger rig had the campground been full but for the price it’s worth it.

I really enjoyed the campsite, but the only thing was there wasn't an outhouse close by. You had to walk to other parts of the park that was quite a long walk to use one. The regular bathrooms were shut down for the season. It would be a nice feature to put an outhouse closer to the campground if not in it specifically. It could be located on the opposite side of the campground from where the current bathrooms are located. Great fall colors. People were respectful and quiet. place was packed every night.

The five-stars is all because of the jumping pillow and playground. The kids absolutely loved it!

Quiet campground, clean, great location to access the greater Des Moines Area. Price is fair for the amenities available. Current camp hosts, Barb and Dave are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
