Greentree Suite
The original Greentree Hotel and Bar was built in Dawson City, Yukon Territory in 1898 to house those hoping to strike it rich in the rush for gold. Like the dreams of many miners of the era, Greentree went up in smoke during one of the frequent fires that devastated the towns along the gold rush trail. Our historical revision of The Greentree is often called “the Honeymoon Suite,” because of its romantic feel and beautiful layout. Not just for couples, many singles find it the perfect place for a quiet get-away. Available for booking year-round. The Greentree’s private deck begins under the roof of the covered carport and wraps around the full 32 feet accessed by sliding doors from the living room and bedroom. A couple or a single entering this magnolia-decorated Southern-Victorian-style suite will feel peaceful and pampered by the cozy electric fireplace, and the double-sized jetted bathtub with two showerheads. This unit has a queen bed in the private bedroom and a twin pull-out in the main kitchen/living area. Wendler Tower
Larson and Wendler's Groceries opened in 1914 as one of the first grocery stores in newly established Anchorage. Still standing at the corner of 4th and D (known as the Wendler Building on the National Historic Registry), it was the only building in Anchorage with a turret. Our version of the Wendler Tower interior includes a beautiful turret window and resembles a country cottage with ruffled bedspreads, curtain valances, a country table, and antique chairs. Sliding doors off the kitchen open onto a private view deck where guests enjoy morning coffee or evening snacks while watching a gorgeous Alaskan sunrise or sunset. A queen bed and a queen hide-a-bed provide lodging for a couple, up to 4 family members, or two singles. Wendler Suite
Wendler Suite is a historic lodge apartment modeled after Wendler and Larson Groceries, which opened in 1914 as one of the first grocery stores in newly established Anchorage. Our suite is designed with an antique theme in mind and includes an antique pot-belly stove and many other older treasures reminding us of days gone by. This beautiful floor-level suite apartment sleeps up to four, with a queen bed in a private bedroom, and a daybed with a pull-out full in the living room/kitchen area. Brown & Hawkins Suite
The original “Brown & Hawkins General Merchandise” was built in Seward in 1903 and is the oldest continually operated business in Seward. It is also the oldest store in Alaska under the same ownership. T. W. Hawkins’s son James Hawkins took it over from his father and then passed it to his daughter Virginia Darling (Hawkins.) Virginia’s son Hugh Darling and his wife Iris are the current operators. Our historical re-creation of Brown & Hawkins is a suite that resembles a 1907 soda fountain, complete with a wire ice cream parlor table and chairs and Coca-Cola collectibles. It is also wheelchair friendly, complete with a “roll-in” shower. Two couples or two singles will appreciate the queen bed in the bedroom and a queen-sized Murphy bed in the living room/kitchen. Clean and spacious, your suite includes a furnished kitchen, a private bath, Dish Network, freezer space, a private deck with a view and a BBQ, and free Wi-Fi. Brown & Hawkins and Wendler Suites have the option of being connected through both the kitchens and decks, for the convenience of larger groups.

Bunkhouse Studio
The two-story Bunk House Cabin has two efficient apartments, Bunk House North and Bunk House South. Both efficiency apartments are located upstairs. They are each complete with a full kitchen, a private bathroom with a shower, and a Dish network. The North Unit has a queen and a full pull-out couch. The South Unit has a queen bed and a twin daybed. Each unit has a small private deck. For an economical Alaskan getaway, the Bunk House apartments provide an excellent place to stay. Located right near the main fire pit and tent camping area, the Bunk House building has several picnic tables and a gas grill right nearby for your enjoyment. Units are available for individual rent, or, with 8 beds this cabin is perfect for a family reunion or corporate retreat.

Renting an RV to sleep in for the night can be a wonderful way to experience Alaska in a private, clean and comfortable way! If you have friends staying in our RV Park, our delightful Class A Motorhome is probably what you are looking for. With enough advance notice, we can make sure Class A is parked right next to your friends or family in our award-winning RV Park! A spacious 36-foot motorhome, our Class A has a queen bed and a fold-out double-bed couch. Fully furnished, it includes a working kitchen and bathroom, Dish Network, free Wi-Fi, and all the benefits of our RV Park, the 24-hour viewing deck, use of the bath-house, fish-cleaning station, laundry facilities, ongoing social activities and so much more.

The Foreman’s Cabin is constructed of local Spruce, and the cabinets from birch are cut right here on the Resort property. Nestled in the trees, the large private decks overlook the rich Kenai River wetlands, the Bridge Access Road, the city of Kenai, Cook Inlet, and the active volcanoes of the Alaska Range. The lower unit has a private entrance, a living room, bedroom, bathroom with shower, a complete kitchen with a four-burner stove and oven, Dish Network, chest freezer, propane grill, and Wi-Fi. The lower unit sleeps up to two, with a Queen size bed.

Foreman's Cabin, Upper

Bunkhouse Rooms
The two-story Bunk House Cabin has four rooms. The rooms are located downstairs of the building. BH1 and BH2 are adjoined by a full bathroom, as are BH3 and BH4. The rooms all have a private sink and Dish network. There is a common area outside the rooms with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and toaster. The rooms come with all the amenities offered at the resort—free Wi-Fi, a fish cleaning station, use of the 24-hour viewing deck, optional participation in the free guided activities, and so much more. Located right near the main fire pit and tent camping area, the Bunk House building has several picnic tables and a gas grill right nearby for your enjoyment. Units are available for individual rent, or, with 19 beds this cabin is perfect for a family reunion or corporate retreat.

Chicken Coop
The only chickens in this “coop” are the weather vane atop the roof, the welcome sign, plastic lawn ornaments, coffee mugs, and stuffed toys. This cozy cabin has a fantastic view and is sided with Alaskan-grown lumber. It sleeps four comfortably and the complete kitchen has hot/cold running water. Although this cabin has only a porta-potty for a bathroom, it is right next to the Mainstreet Bath and Shower house (boasting three private bathrooms, each with a shower, toilet, and sink). A picnic table and gas grill outside the Chicken Coop Cabin are included for your enjoyment. As with all our rooms and RV sites, the Chicken Coop includes Free Wi-Fi, use of the bath-house and laundry facilities, fish-cleaning station, ongoing social activities, and more.

Homestead
Rustic and authentically Alaskan, we’ve fixed this little cabin up with true Northern style. Sleeping up to seven, there are two sets of bunk beds, and a sleeping loft (with a double and a twin mattress, on the floor). Some of our guests come back year after year, specifically asking for this cabin. It’s a wonderful way to get a true Alaskan experience—rugged, yet comfortable. Surprisingly spacious on the inside, having your very own furnished kitchenette and a small picnic table propane grill means you can fix meals at home (perhaps the fish you just caught!). While there is no running water, we provide a large container full of fresh clean water every day. No indoor bathroom is provided, but there is an outhouse nearby, and guests are always welcome to use either of the bathhouse facilities at the Resort.

Matti's Lux Sites
These are sites 22-32 and were our second wave of RV expansion. Site width ranges from 36-40 feet and length at 60 feet for the supersize which includes the a/b site between two pedestals. These sites require a 2 week minimum stay to allow our long-term guests to build comradery and the home away from home feel. For now, our season guests will be placed in odd numbered sites or 22 and 32. This allows us to provide the buddy rate (rent of "a" site and "b" site to groups of 2 - one rig must be able to pull in forward for hook-up to be on the correct side). This location provides the closest walk to current office, Mainstreet Lodge and the viewing deck where we hold our Saturday Night Potluck Socials. All sites include a full hook-up with water, 30-50 amp electric and sewer. These sites are also Dish Ready. Pull Through - Supersize RV Sites Year Round
SOUTH PARK This RV Park section includes sites 40-82 and our latest wave of expansion. Since many of the rigs arriving are larger, we made these sites supersize (Big Rig Friendly) with easy maneuverability. Sites range from 36-42 feet wide and 55-65 feet long. South Park is split into 3 sections: North, Courtyards, and South. The North Section of South Park backs up to trees while the South Section backs up to concrete blocks with a hill behind acting as a sound barrier to Kalifornsky Beach Road. The South Section is slightly wider and longer than North and is Dish Ready. Our 4 Grassy Courtyards allow for 4 rigs around each allowing for all 4 rigs to enjoy the 65-foot square semi-private yard. These Courtyards work best for groups of 4, but 2 or more also work. If you are just one Supersize Rig who wants a Pull-Through, we will accommodate when we are able. During peak season July 1st -Sept. 1st please call for reservation as we may have availability that is not depicted on the website, Thank You! Unfortunately, there is no cable TV in our section of Kalifornsky Beach Road. We have set sections of our park up as Dish Ready (Sites 22-32 and 71-81). If you are a Dish Network subscriber and have your Dish Receiver with you, you will be able to hook into our system and get what you subscribe to back home. If you are not a subscriber, we have a limited number of receivers we loan out to longer stays on a first come first serve basis, and then you can get the 44 channels we subscribe to. You can get 3-5 local channels with your RV antennae. We are still working to beautify and raise road and site levels with proper material. Until we are financially able to complete, the sewer dump is 4-6 inches above ground because the level of sites will be raised to that level. Those who see our dream can appreciate our efforts to continue to improve and create a better experience for our guests.

These RV sites are located in Blair's Tall Timbers. These were the very first RV sites we built back in 1997 and therefore the sites are narrow (14-16' wide) and maneuvering around the trees can take a little extra time. Due to this concern, we have put a limit on rigs to 34' motorhome or 32' Travel Trailer or 5th wheel. Sites 1, 7, and 11 are back in only and for rigs, in the 20-24' range. Although, a motorhome with no tow can be slightly larger depending on the site. Site 11 only has water & electric hook-ups. We have a dump station available, free for our highly-valued guests. Tent
The tenting area at the resort, sits on our campfire hill. It is a nice grassy knoll with a central fire ring and a picnic table for everyone. We allow up to 10 tents if a couple parties are traveling together. Sites are on a first come first serve basis so arriving earlier in the afternoon provides you with the best selection. Diamond M Ranch Resort Tent Area is an affordable and lovely place to camp. Complete with access to free showers and bathrooms, fish cleaning, wifi, and more.
