Ditto Landing Marina & Campground — Reviews

This campsite is ok for an overnight stay or for a few nights. No amenities, no patios or pads, and mostly narrow crowned parking spaces for your rig. A lot of the sites were in fill areas and were narrow and not level. I had to pull up and back in several times to get our rig somewhat level before leveling unit. Our entrance steps landed on a downward slope with no place to really put chairs or a grill. There were sites that were on natural ground level that were wider and more level. This Campground appears to be an after thought to support their Marina and is not really a vacation destination. We were only there to visit relatives for a few days, so we weren't at trailer much, so ok for a few nights stay.

The access to utilities was easy but I should have reserved a space in the shade. The area by the marina, is fully shaded by beautiful trees and the river was accessible. I will stay here again.

We chose a weekend that came along with a free concert, food trucks and fire works. Our camp site was clean and was almost directly across from the restroom. The beautiful water front views makes this location one of my favorites 😍

Easy check in, spacious site, garbage pick up is a bonus!

It was a nice place to park. Some more amenities would have been nice.

RV pads are just large enough for parking. Pads are crowned in the middle to much. Elevation from pad to native soil is quite a drop not allowing for any outside seating under awnings. Was very rainy and muddy. Quiet and affordable.

The site had lots of weeds, was not well marked and it was confusing where to sign in. In our individual site there was low points where there was still standing water. The gravel could use leveling as each side had a slope. For the price if you need an overnight stop it’s fine. But would not recommend anything more than that.

We have visited this campsite many times to visit family in Huntsville. The cost is reasonable The sites are not on top one another. Many sites are built up so makes the parking area narrow. The greenway makes for a great bike ride, running or walking. Beware, there are loud booms from the rocket testing at the base.

The campsite was clean, level, was a good value, and met our needs well. The staff at Ditto Landing are very friendly, hospitable, and accommodating. I don't see how they could be any better. The views from the marina area on the Tennessee River are beautiful and the drive to Huntsville doesn't seem too long at all.

Well kept, friendly staff, everything worked. We wanted a place near our grand kids. They came down and played / rode bikes. We got one of the shaded spots.

Beautiful location with greenways that line the inner and surrounding river. Bath house was super clean. The park staff was nice and helpful.

Office staff are incredible! Must stay here.

Convenient place to stay. Staff was very nice. Not a criticism but it could be so much more if the city would fund it
