Beautiful and spacious campground. The owners and staff were the best. Best sunsets of any campground. Can’t wait to go back!!

We had a waterfront campsite that was gorgeous. Very quiet and serene. The bath/showers were very clean and updated.

Wish there was more to do with the kids. Maybe a bigger playground. But overall was a very experience and everyone was super nice.

Dixon Landing RV Resort in Grantsboro, NC is an incredible waterfront getaway! We just wrapped up our very first trip of 2026 here, and it was exactly the peaceful break our family needed to unplug from running our small business. The spacious pull-through sites made setup incredibly easy, and having our own campfire ring meant we could build a fire every single night. The water access along Goose Creek is beautiful—perfect for launching a kayak or spending hours fishing. It is such a clean, quiet, and relaxing park. We had plenty of room to stretch out, cook on the griddle, read, and completely recharge. We will definitely be back! 🏕️🛶

The space we had could have had a little more clearance from the next space but the people weren’t there the whole time so it wasn’t too bad.

This campground is absolutely gorgeous! Its scenic view of the Neuse River is amazing. It is a very quiet and peaceful place to relax.

First let me say that the staff was incredible. They were pleasant and accommodating throughout my entire stay. I enjoyed the common areas that they have by the waterfront. However they say the experiences what camping is supposed to be, but camping is not supposed to be expensive. The sites are not level and the layout is a little crowded. Had it not been for the special offer by camp spot, I would have passed on this location based on the price alone. But all in all I did enjoy my stay.

A great, quiet, peaceful, and relaxing rv park hidden just out of the way of civilization! The water, woods, and sunset views are wonderful!! The sites have water/electric, sit on the packed sand, was easy to level, and has decent space between sites. There is a dump station and a free pump out service available three days a week which can be scheduled. The dogs were thrilled with all the smells, squirrels, and dog park. Everyone is friendly and helpful. New Bern is easy access 25-30 minutes with everything you need and plenty to explore in the historic park of town. We camped at Dixon Landing RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We only spent one night there but the staff was very accommodating and the view of Goose Creek was wonderful. Will go back at some point. Met some nice people.

Beautiful camp spot on the waterway, kayaking access, and very serene. 3rd time here and many improvements!

Loved our stay, great views, camp spots are spacious no issues at all. Everyone was nice and welcoming. Only thing to note is that the water has a bad smell we had our tank full of water so we didn't really need to use it inside we manly used it outside to wash off items but not a big deal if you are prepared. Campground is about 20 minutes from downtown New bern. Campground is under renovation but they have that posted and were aware before we booked. All in all we had a great time.
