Downata Hot Springs — Reviews

Very clean and great customer service

Great atmosphere nice pools clean campgrounds. We ordered some appetizers onion rings tator tots and Dole whip ice cream. Everything was great.

We stayed in one of their medium cabins. The coffee pot was broken, the door knob casing and the metal on the door jam went askew so we couldnt close the door. It would just swing open when the wind blew. My husband had to fix it. You pay $200 a night for a cabin with all that wrong with it and then have to pay for swimming passes on top of that. I think if you are paying that much for run down cabins the swimming should at least be included in the price. You pay all that money and dont even get wifi included. My family had fun but im not sure it was worth the price.

It was so peaceful. The hot water pools are open every morning, which was a lot of fun. Staff was friendly. Could hear the coyotes at night, just beautiful and relaxing.

We were just staying 1 night and our site was in a field with no other campers near. Park is designed for people using water activities and not for short term camping. We were not provided with a map or any park information. It was definitely not some place I would recommend or return to.

From checking in to the pool and just the overall stay it was perfect! The pool was very inviting and clean. The camp spot was well groomed and spacious.

We didnt love the location of our site. No trees and really really close to our neighbors. However, we made it work. The facilities and amenities were good enough for us to want to return though. My only recommendation is to be choosy on which sites you get.

Pack people in like sardines. We had a picnic table and fire pit. Some other people claimed it and threw all their chairs around it so we never got to use it. The pool is packed as well.

Had a great time with my two kids, 12 and 9. Pool was fantastic, and clean. Lifeguard staff was awesome, which made a busy pool feel relaxing. Hot tubs and slides and basketball hoop - just a great trip! Campground was quiet and relaxing. Cooked over the fire pits, and one of the best overnight trips I’ve had in a while.
