Easy peasy

The restroom was not very clean, there was a lot of dog hair and spider webs everywhere in the men’s bathroom . I swept the mess up myself with a broom that was in the bathroom. The entire camp needs to be better taken care of. It seems a lot of campers have been there for quite a while. I will never camp there again.

The trains going by on the two railroad tracks were disturbing especially during the night. The plus is the campsites along the New River are very nice. David is a good hosts and is working real hard to add entertainment venues to the camp ground.

It was very peaceful, plenty of space and management provided great customer service!

We loved our site on the New River-the view of the water was great, the site was grassy and nicely spaced from other sites, and it was very quiet. The host, Dave, was welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. We booked 3 nights for our return trip home.

Great in all ways except there are only 2 potties. Great views. Friendly staff. Clean and engaging. Yes, there are trains. No deal. They didn't even wake me.

Dave the owner very friendly and accommodating. The faculties were clean. The location was perfect for kayaking and fishing. We found The Palisades Restaurant, one of the top 10 restaurants in the state of VA. It is about 1.5 miles from the campground. We will be visiting again before end of the year.

Beautiful sites very level. Lots of trains but surprisingly not annoying.

It was beautiful

The views on the ride in were breathtaking. The campground views of the river were beautiful. The campground owner, Dave, was super friendly. I loved that is was not a concrete jungle and had more of a "getting in touch with nature" feel.

Very beautiful location, being right on the New River was wonderful! We had a 29 ft TT and had no problem setting up but anything longer could be an issue. Also roads and pads in the campground are gravel not pavement. The trains were close but we enjoyed watching and hearing them. The bathhouse was nice and clean. We plan on returning next year!

This was our second visit to Eggleston springs campground, we had a great time. Love the river and the campground is clean and the host is very accommodating. Will for sure be going back!

David the manager/owner treated us great. The site we were at was wonderful. The first two days we had a great view of the river.
