Pretty chill spot. I was the only tent in the site so I had a lot of space. The employees were super friendly. Great spot to unplug.

Nice and quiet, easy to find

Good quiet stay bathroom could use some updating

Dirt bridge to campground needs repair. General appearance is run down with majority of trailers in run down live-in condition. Lots of debris and junk litter the sites Host was nice.

Camping host was friendly. Campground was well maintained

Quiet and spacious rustic campsite, well shaded near scenic pond. Missed checkin window but map with my name was taped to the door. Bathhouse was tired and dated, but clean. Appreciated being away from highway noise and camping in a tranquil environment.

Nice quiet place. Water went out our first day due to storm, and there were no hot water one morning. Other than that, bathroom was clean, not too many people, quiet place. Plenty of space at the tent sites.

The campground was empty with the exception of 15-20 campers that live there full time. The website only allowed one night available to reserve so doesn’t make sense. The people were friendly enough.

Not fancy but worked great for the nights we were there. Super nice folks, level site though fairly small for our RV. Staff took us to the site and helped guide us in and were available when we needed anything. convenient to the lake and the Windy City.

Hosts and staff were very friendly. Great amenities and lots of space to camp. Loved having our tent right next to the bog!! The gift shop was a nice touch.

The staff was friendly and helpful. But very tight turns. Difficult to navigate around especially towing a car. It was disconcerting having other campers walking right past our window cutting through our campsite to get where they’re going. So probably not a place we’d stop again.

It was well maintained. A lot of thought was put into this campsite. I like the idea of 55 gal drums almost everywhere that was used for trash collection. Very friendly staff. Great walking trails! The only down side I have to say is. I'm sorry I couldn't stay longer. Thanks for making me feel welcomed!
