Nice clean and quiet and close to the timber expo second time we stayed there

The campground is convenient and well cared for. *only recommendation is to the host who sold me 2 bundels of firewood - it would have been great if you could've offered transportation. It was quite heavy and I was on foot, having to make 2 trips to and from the camper was OK but not great. Be kind when opportunity presents itself.

I had an enjoyable stay, however I could not find a recycling bin anywhere. I would like to think the city would provide this.

All the amenities we need. Nice setting and not overcrowded.

It's just a nice campground except for the car races on Thursday night

I would have given four stars, but our site had been brushed and was all dirt, roots, and sticks, and there was a lot of garbage. All the other sites looked great, mowed grass, and very clean. I was also disappointed that it cost us ten dollars to dump our tanks; it should be included as in most other campgrounds. Other than this, it's a great campground and I would stay again when in the area.

Great access to bike the Mesabi Trail. Full hookup sites.

Would not refund me even when it stated online, that if I cancelled before 14 days of making reservations. I cancelled the very next day, and was not refunded payment. Very dissatisfying experience. The noise from the racetrack was way too loud.

Flat clean site. Clean restrooms.and showers.

Park was nice and well mantained. However, the sites were soft and not level. The pads on our 5th wheel sank into the site about 1" to 1 1/2" causing the rv to become unlevel. Also, on our last night there was a speedway inside the fairgrounds and they were very loud well after 9PM!

I think the website should divulge the fact that the racetrack is incredibly close and LOUD!! We couldn’t even sit outside the camper to visit.

Because the port a potties that they had by us were soooo disgusting I couldn't handle it especially at night. We didn't stay the second night for that reason. And the camp host wasn't around. I shouldn't have to go way up to the shower house to use the bathroom especially at night. That's to far!!!

Nice Quiet Well Managed Campground !

Thursday night the race next door was loud. Saturday morning one of two toilets in the men's bathroom was back up.

We went for the car show and swap meet. The spots are very small and hard to back into. If you’re coming with a 25’ camper it’s perfect. But anything bigger plan to be in the neighbors spot when you back up, and hope that spot is empty. The neighbors drew an imaginary line of where their camp spot was and apparently we were on their side, this initiated an eviction warning from the host. The campground had tons of open space but we could only have 2 cars in our space which was tiny so our car had to go where the picnic table was. The event did offer additional parking on the other side of the event but it’s too far away for a disabled person or for a family with small children to walk and visit us. We have 4 adult children and this used to be a family event for us. The event is getting smaller and smaller due to the “new” rules. We’ve been going to this event for 35 years and it keeps deteriorating.
