Campground Policies

Check In/ Check Out

Check in is at 3:00 PM CST and entitles you to your site until 11:00 AM the day after you check in. Early Check in is allowed only if prior approval has been given. Check out is 12 PM CST. You do not need to notify the office unless you need to pay for any charges you may have incurred.

Late check-ins are allowed at any time, please just contact the campground for instructions.

Site Changes

You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move, please check with the office.  Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible.  Please inquire before moving sites.

Open Fires

Open fires are allowed in designated fire rings. (Campground will abide by any burning bans set by The Kentucky Division of Forestry)

There is firewood available for purchase at Campground store during operating hours, after hours, there is an honor box located by Campground store door.  $5.00 for 5 sticks of wood. During store hours we will deliver wood to your campsite/ cabin for a $5.00 delivery fee.

Parking

Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site. Use of more than one site will result in additional charges.

There is additional park available in the gravel lot in front of the camp store. 

Site and Campground Navigation

Please be respectful of your neighbor and do not walk between sites when navigating the campground.  Please use main roads, and designated public paths to walk around the campground.

 

Washing

Washing RV’s or other vehicles is not permitted in the campground.

Seasonal Campers please contact Campground Manager for information on this matter.

 

Pet Policies

Pet Limit

There is a three-pet limit, per campsite/cabin.

Leash

We ask that you keep your pets on a leash at all times. This helps your pet, other guests, and other guests’ pets stay safe.

Washing Pets

Washing pets is PROHIBITED in the shower house. Doing so will result in a cleaning fee of $100 to be charged to your Credit Card on file.

Cleaning up After Your Pets

Always clean up after your pet. Do not leave your pet waste on your site or any of our other guests’ sites please.  Failure to clean up after your pet will result in your being asked to leave without a refund.

Leaving Pets Unattended

Pets may not be left unattended in the campground. Please do not tie your pet to any trees and leave.  Leaving pets unattended is dangerous for your pet as many factors including weather, power outages, etc. can affect your pets well-being while you are away.

Pets In Cabins

Please do not let your pets scratch or chew on the furniture or any other part of the cabin. For any incidents there will be a $25.00 charge per occurrence. Please thoroughly clean up any accidents (waste) your pets may make in the cabins. Not doing so will result in a $100.00 additional cleaning fee charged to your credit card.

 

Pet Vaccinations

We strongly recommend you make sure pet’s shots are up to date.

Barking

Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors.  Please note that excessive barking may result in your being asked to leave without a refund.

 

Vehicle Policies

Park Speed Limit

The park speed limit is 10 mph. Exceeding the speed limit will result in a warning. Multiple warnings will require us to ask you to leave. Safety is our number one priority for our guests.

Parking

Each paid guest registration covers 1 RV per site and up to 2 vehicles per site unless noted.  Please do not park in the grass, there is some extra parking in front of the Camp Store. Ruts caused in your site due to additional vehicles will result in damage charges.

Do not park in the road or in campsites not registered to you.

ATV’s and Golf Carts

OHVs are welcome onsite but used ONLY to get to and from your site/cabin. 

  

Laundry

The Laundry Room is open 24/7, and a change machine is available.  Please do not leave your laundry unattended.  We are not responsible for accidents or theft.

Restrooms/Showers

For the comfort of all our guests, restrooms are open 24/7 with exception of a temporary closing for cleaning once per day.  Please be respectful of the facilities. If you notice something broken or a cleaning need, please notify the Office. Guests under the age of 18 need adult supervision in the bathrooms and showers.

 

Quiet Time Policies

The Quiet Time is 10 PM CST to 7 AM CST.  Anyone being loud in any way will be warned only once and then ask to leave without a refund.

Trash Disposal

There is a dumpster located in front of the Camp Store. Please tie your trash bags completely closed and place them completely in the dumpster.  Do not put your trash bags on the ground. There are woodland creatures that will be attracted to left out food or trash. DO NOT BURN YOUR TRASH, dispose of it in the dumpster.

Do not put motor oil, cooking oil, wires, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic or hazardous waste items in the dumpsters. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in charges for disposal fees.

Children

Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. There will be no bike riding allowed after dark in the campground. 

Clotheslines

Clotheslines are not permitted in the campground. 

Fireworks and Firearms

Fireworks are strictly prohibited in our park. The prohibiting of fireworks includes, sparklers, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers.  Firearms, including airsoft, BB, and pellet guns, are to be kept securely on your person, in your camper or vehicle at all times. They are not to be fired on the property. 

Safety and Emergencies

Emergency Contact information forms are required from all seasonal guest.  This information remains private and used only should a situations arises when we need to contact someone in the event of an emergency or is sought by the law enforcement agencies.  We never give personal information out to others.

 

 

If you observe any activity you believe to be of concern, call (606) 682-3881 Tammy or (606) 657-1436 Boyce, 24 hours a day. (No soliciting allowed)

If you need to call 911 for any reason, after calling 911 and if time allows, please call (606) 682-3881 Tammy or (606) 657-1436 Boyce, so we can be prepared to escort the emergency personnel to your location.

Foggy Bottom CampgroundWaiver

I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE Foggy Bottom Campground or Wolf Creek Outfitters, its owners and agents (collectively, Foggy Bottom Campground Management), from any and all liability to me, my children, my invitees/guests, personal representatives, heirs and pets, for any loss or damage on account of injury to person (including death) or loss or damage to property relating to, or arising out of, use and occupancy of the Foggy Bottom Campground property, facilities (Collectively the Premises) and any dangers and hazards associated with acts of nature such as changing weather conditions; high winds; thunder and lightning; temperature fluctuations; falling trees; tree limbs, ice; wildfires; or encounters with wildlife.

I HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS  Foggy Bottom Campground and Wolf Creek Outfitters Management, and each of them, from any loss, liability or cost (including attorney fees) they my incur due to injury (including death), damage or loss of property relating to use of the Premises by me, my children, pets and/or my invitees/guests or due to any incidents that may occur during my stay. I understand that, although Foggy Bottom Campground and Wolf Creek Outfitters Management makes every reasonable effort to provide a secure environment, the security of my person, my belongings, pet, and all persons registered in my party is my sole responsibility.

I understand that I am and remain personally liable to pay the total amount of my reservation prior to my scheduled check-in date, or at such earlier date communicated to me.  If I fail to pay the total due, I agree that Foggy Bottom Campground/ Wolf Creek Outfitters may charge any remaining balance (in addition to any damage charges or other amount owed under these Terms and Conditions) to any credit or debit card on file with my reservation.  Any amount due after 30 days will be subject to the maximum late charge permitted under state law.

 The Premises are privately owned and FOGGY BOTTOM CAMPGROUND/ WOLF CREEK OUTFITTERS MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE to anyone for any reason except for those prohibited by law. Foggy Bottom Campground/Wolf Creek Outfitters Management reserves the right to require any person or party it deems necessary to leave the campground based on violation of Park Rules or behavior management deems inappropriate or disturbing to others.  Harassment or mistreatment of our staff or other guests, including but not limited to, racist comment or hate speech, will not be tolerated under any circumstances.  I have read this notice and agree to it as well as all Foggy Bottom Campground Rules and Regulations.  In addition, I understand that I am responsible for the actions of all persons registered in my party, including any children, pets, and any guests that visit during my stay.  On behalf of each person in my party, I grant Foggy Bottom Campground and its affiliated entities and promotional partners the right to include any photographic, video and other visual portrayals of each person in my party in any medium and for any purpose.

 

Additional Terms for Rental Units

I understand and agree to as follows:

At departure, the rental unit is to be left in a reasonably clean condition. This means I will broom sweep it and remove the garbage from the rental unit and place it in the dumpster located in front of the Camp Store. All kitchens and kitchenettes are to be left clean, meaning that I will wash and put away all dishes, and I will remove all food and wipe clean the microwave, fridge, stove and countertops. If I do not do these basic cleaning measures, Foggy Bottom Campground Management may charge my credit card an additional cleaning fee. I understand and agree that if I leave the rental unit in an unreasonably filthy condition, leave pet waste, or smoke in a rental unit, Foggy Bottom Campground Will charge my credit card for the cost to professionally clean the rental unit ($250 minimum charge).

All damages to the rental unit, whether caused by myself, my children, guests or pets, will be disclosed to Management immediately. All damages occurring to the rental unit during my stay may be charged to my credit card after a thorough inspection has been made by Foggy Bottom Campground Management. Damages for which I will be responsible included, but are not limited to: lost key(s), broken/lost TV/DVD/AC remote controls, broken items, discharged fire extinguisher (if not use for fire), damaged/dented/bent appliances, furniture, cabinetry or dishes, writing on the walls or bedding, and ripped or torn mattresses or covers.
