Campground Rules & Terms
Violations: Breaking any rule may result in immediate removal from the campground without a refund.
Check-In/Check-Out::
Check-in: 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Check-out: By 12:00 PM noon
Notify the office of any issues with site when you arrive or before you leave. Leave no trace. Clean up fines may be assessed at $100 per hour for sites left with trash on site or in firepit and or personal belongings left behind and $250 fine if equipment is necessary to clean site.
Registration:
Register at the front desk in the Store/Office.
Campers are responsible for their children, guests, and pets. Criminal, abusive, drunken behavior can lead to immediate ejection without a refund.
Children:
Children under 14 must be supervised at all times.
At the pool, children under 14 must be with an adult (18+).
Please make sure all parties know they should not enter or cut across other camper’s sites.
Visitors must register at the office and pay a fee: $5/day, $10 overnight.
Visitors should arrive after 8:00 AM and leave by 9:00 PM.
Failure to register guests may result in fines.
Quiet Hours:
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No loud noise during these times. Music/movies/overhead lighting should be off by 10:00 PM.
Pets:
Max of 3 pets per site. Keep pets leashed and clean up after them.
Rabies information IS REQUIRED.
Dog Park is available for use off leash. Please follow posted rules.
All other areas of the campground your pet must be leashed.
Clean up after your pets. Bags provided in dog park.
Service animals are welcome; please notify the office.
Campfires:
Use designated fire rings. Keep flames under 2 feet.
Don’t burn trash. Fires must be fully extinguished before leaving them unattended.
Moving fire rings is strictly prohibited. You will be assessed a $75 charge if fire rings are moved.
Local or State Fire enforcement may issue no burn orders in times of drought, we are required to comply.
Trees:
Don’t damage, cut or carve trees, shrubs, or undergrowth. A fine will apply for damages.
Speed Limit & Parking:
Speed limit: 5 MPH. Park only in designated areas. No parking on roads or on other sites.
Electric Vehicles:
No charging of electric vehicles at the campground. Charging stations are available locally.
Trash:
Place household trash in dumpster, not in fire pits. Do not leave food or trash out when not on your site to avoid attracting animals. Take large items with you when you leave. Leave no trace.
Bathhouse:
Children under 14 must be supervised at all times.
Don’t flush wipes, paper towels, feminine products, condoms or food.
Report any issues to the office.
Laundry:
Use machines for clothes only. Overloading or washing non-clothing items will result in disposal.
Pool:
Swim at your own risk (no lifeguard). No food or glass in the pool area. Children under 14 must be supervised.
Pool is open from 10:00 AM until dusk (Memorial Day to Labor Day). No smoking.
No pets are allowed in pool area.
Pool railings are for safety purposes. Do not allow children to swing or play on the railings.
Fishing Pond:
Follow posted rules for fishing (catch and release with a non-barbed hook).
No swimming, but dogs can swim if leashed.
Trout stocked annually.
Please use caution as wildlife may be present. Upon a wildlife encounter, they are not to be harmed, harassed, fed or touched. Report all bear / moose sightings to the office.
Paddle Boats & Kayaks & Recreation supplies:
Provided to our guests as a courtesy for your enjoyment for use at your own risk.
Life jackets are required and supplied for all people. Children under 14 must be supervised.
All equipment must be returned to proper location.
Playground:
Follow posted rules.
Opens 8:00 - Closed at dusk
No throwing rocks.
Children under 14 must be supervised.
No smoking.
Bicycles:
Helmets are required (NH Law) for riders under 16. Bikes allowed from 8 AM to dusk. Don’t cross other campsites and be mindful of vehicles.
Footwear:
Wear shoes in all buildings and public areas (including the dog park ,decks, bathhouse, rec center and store).
Recreation Hall:
Please follow posted rules. Children under 14 must be supervised.
No pets permitted.
No smoking.
Photos/Video:
The campground may take photos/videos for advertising. By signing terms, you give permission for their use.
Prohibited Items:
No fireworks of any kind, minibikes, motorbikes, ATVs, or power equipment (chainsaws, etc.).
Smoking:
PROHIBITED IN ALL BUILDINGS, POOL AREA AND PLAYGROUND.
Please dispose of cigarettes properly and be courteous to neighbors.
WAIVER:
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY! THIS IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT THAT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS!
This Release and Waiver of Liability (the “Release”) executed on this day “Camper” in favor of Foothills Family Campground, Tamworth, NH their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents (collectively referred to hereinafter as “Campground”).
The Camper(s)is vacationing at the Campground and during the vacation, the Camper(s) may avail himself/herself of the various recreational activities/amusements offered by the Campground.
These would include but not be limited to swimming and water activity facilities such as pools, slides, sprinklers, and ponds; inflatable amusements such as bounce houses, slides, and obstacle courses, hiking and bicycle paths/trails, playgrounds, fishing facilities, exercise equipment, basketball /volleyball / badminton courts, horseshoe pits, laser tag, dog runs, skating areas, boating, and bocce courts, and naturally surfaced playing fields. (Collectively referred to hereinafter as “Activities”).
The Camper(s)hereby releases, waives, discharges and covenants not to sue the campground, their owners, directors, employees, agents and volunteers, heretofore referred to as the releasees, and releases them from all liability for any or all loss or damage and any claim or demands therefore on account of injury to the person resulting from the above identified activity(s) participation by the Camper(s)whether caused by the negligence of the releasees, or otherwise while the undersigned is in or on the premises of the campground.
The Camper(s) hereby agrees to indemnify the releasees and save and hold harmless the releasees from any loss, liability, damage or cost they incur due to their participation in the activity(s) caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise.
The Camper(s) hereby assumes full responsibility for any and all risk of bodily injury from participation in the above referenced activity(s) due to the negligence of the releasees or otherwise while in or on the campground premises.
The Camper(s)understands and acknowledges as with any campsite in its natural setting nuisances exist, including but not limited to, wild animals, insects, and poisonous plants, all of which can cause bodily injury, illness, death, or property damage.
The Camper(s)hereby releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue the campground owners, directors, employees, volunteers or agents, heretofore referred to as the releasees and releases them from any and all liability and any and all loss of damage and any claims or demands therefore on account of injury to the person of the undersigned from the above referenced nuisances whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise while the undersigned is in or on the premises of the campground.
The Camper(s)hereby agrees to indemnify and save and hold harmless the releasees from any loss, liability, damage or cost they may incur from the above referenced nuisances due to the presence of the undersigned in or on the premises of the campground whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise.
The Camper(s)hereby assumes all responsibility for and risk of bodily injury from said nuisances whether due to the negligence of the releasees or otherwise.
OTHER: Camper(s)expressly agrees that should any part of this waiver be found invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such clause or provision shall not otherwise affect the remaining provisions of this Release which shall continue to be enforceable.
Camper(s)acknowledges that he/she has read the within Release and Waiver of Liability and has a full understanding of same.
Parent/Legal Guardian agree that their signature is required on behalf of any minor(s) within the Camper's party.
Reservation and Cancellation Policy
Our policy on reservations and cancellations is as follows:
RESERVATIONS:
1) Reservations require payment in full.
2) Holidays require a minimum stay of 3 nights.
3) Check in is between 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm and check out by 12:00 pm.
CANCELLATIONS:
Please contact our office at 603-323-8322 for cancellations or changes to reservation. We ask that you provide us with at least 10 days advanced notice for a cancellation or a change to reservations.
FOR RENTAL UNIT:
1) Cancellations received greater than 14 days from the date of arrival are refundable minus $25 for processing fees. You may choose to have remaining funds applied as a camp credit for future reservations that must be scheduled prior to the end of the current camping season. If not used prior to the end of camping season, balance is non-refundable.
2) Cancellations requested between 6-13 days from the date of arrival are subject to a deduction of 50% of original reservation as non-refundable.
3) Cancellations received within 5 days or less from the date of arrival are non-refundable.
4) No show, failure to cancel a reservation, leaving your site early from a reservation is non-refundable.
FOR ALL OTHER SITES:
1) Cancellations received greater than 10 days from the date of arrival are refundable minus $25 for processing fees. You may choose to have remaining funds applied as a camp credit for future reservations that must be scheduled prior to the end of the current camping season. If not used prior to end of camping season balance is non-refundable.
2) Cancellations requested between 3-10 days from the date of arrival are subject to a deduction of 50% of original reservation as non-refundable.
3) Cancellations received with 2 days or less from the date of arrival are non-refundable.
4) No show, failure to cancel a reservation, leaving your site early from a reservation is non-refundable.
Please note that camping is an outdoor activity. We do not charge extra for sunshine and we don’t offer refunds due to inclement weather.
