Fountain of Youth RV Park — Reviews

I’m giving this campground a 3 star rating since we were staying during the middle of their construction of new water lines and electrical to the camp sites. I see this being a great finished product and definitely worthy of 5 stars after it’s complete. Had a great stay for two nights and enjoyed the mineral pools.

They had a lot of construction going on, and the owners went out of their way to make sure everybody was good with their camp spots and comfortable

We truly loved this park. Quiet and the guests were so nice. Great place to walk my cat.

Campground was in disarray. Construction throughout. Port-o-potties that were a mess. No shower facilities. We did not enter the pool as we thought if the rest of the site was in such disrepair, the pool would be somehow compromised. Grass was nothing but weeds. Sewer caps were non-functioning.

Great hot springs included with the price of the campsite.

They parked me in a spot where I could only hook up either my water for my sewer (for the big rigs), they were doing construction early in the morning digging with a backhoe, the bathrooms backed up and the spots were so uneven and rutted. And then the workers hit the powerline so the electricity went out for a few hours in the morning. I talked to the manager he said he would give me a discount but I did not have time to top in the office on the way out that morning so I did not get the refund.

My Family and I had the most amazing time at the Fountain of Youth Campground 😇♥️! Tristen was so Nice and Personable!! All the updates that are being done there are awesome!! We can’t wait to come back again!!!!

It was very relaxing. Campsite could use a little more trees. Maybe a drip system to the trees to keep them growing nice. It met all of our needs.

Great spot to stay but a little bit pricey. The good: Quiet RV/camp ground, not too congested between RVs, hot spring pool to soak in, full hookups that aren’t completely out of the way and the RV spots are fairly level for being on the dirt. The bad: Construction in a portion of the park (they were upgrading so that’s not a huge problem), and very very poor WiFi. The spot the I stayed in had such poor WiFi it would pick up enough to connect but then either drop the connection or have a download speed of .77 mbps and an upload speed of .29 mbps. Other RVers were sitting in their lawn chairs next to the construction area in order to get WiFi services.

Majority of park was under construction but that is not what bothered me. This pool (and main reason I chose this park) is disgusting. Hot springs pools are not supposed to be covered in a thick layer of algae along the bottom with pieces that break off floating around on top. If you’re looking for a nice mineral pool, visit the state park bath house or star plunge waterpark. Those are amazing!

We arrived on time got our space we locked in first staff was friendly and helpful how every the park itself was a disaster. I understand it was a new owner and they are improving the Rv park but the men’s bathroom was disgusting !!!!we were scheduled to stay a week so we left after four days. I don’t think the men’s bathroom were ever cleaned my wife said women’s bathroom was great Iam am a Rv park manager so I know what a Rv park should be like I also know when a customer comes into your office for any reason you give them eye contact the girl working night shift did not eve n look up at my wife regarding a question about the WiFi hopefully the new owners get the park looking like it did from years back

The pool is amazing! Everyone we talked to was friendly. Quick drive to Hot Springs State Park. Nice, clean bathrooms and showers near the pool.

The water here is amazing! Nice to be able to walk out of your camper and go soak😎

Sites are too close together, the hookups are aged, rusty, falling over, or barely visible. We were hooked up to electrical box, (30 amp) 100 degrees outside, our AC suddenly shut off along with everything else. I went outside to check breaker and the burning smell coming from the electrical box was overwhelming. I unplugged our surge protector and power cord and it was very hot. I did not want to plug anything back in due to the burning smell. I went and spoke with a guy at the Office and he seemed annoyed and unconcerned about my issue. After a few minutes he said he would come look at it. Never saw him after I returned to the camper. Because it was so hot and we had our dogs with us we decided to go to dinner and keep the dogs in the truck with the AC. We returned to our site 1.5 hours later and still no resolution and the temperature was still close to 100. Since we were close to home we packed up and headed out. Won't be staying here again.

Water faucet was broken at our spot. No one was in the office and no one answered the phone after several attempts, so we choose another empty spot. No one ever acknowledged or welcomed us to their park. Overall, the park looked rather runned down.

Great customer service. Band was great. Hot springs was lovely!

Only thing I’d like to see changed is the dump site for campers are too close to the next camper right next to the picnic table, you can’t move the table because it’s in cement. Overall camp is nice, and mineral pool is great
