Fountain of Youth RV Park in Thermopolis was the perfect and affordable place for us to camp and enjoy the hot springs of this beautiful small town. It is located a couple miles from the state park and has its own hot springs pool. We happened to be there when they had live music every night so bonus for us. They have everything you need for a very comfortable camping site or RV stay. The private showers are new and clean as is the women’s restroom. This RV park is under new ownership that has a sincere desire to continue improving the conditions of the park and cares about their patrons’ ecpetience. Thank you Tristan for a great stay!

My wife and I had heard from a friend that Fountain of Youth was a special place so we decided to stay on our way to CO. It is a very quiet place and the hot springs are very therapeutic and relaxing. The staff was helpful and pleasant and the showers and restrooms were clean. We also loved the live music!

I realize you are the new owners, but this park is very RUNDOWN and in bad need of TLC. The camp sites are too close together (an expensive fix); the grass, what's left of it, needs water now; the pool is a disgrace with slime; the internet is weak; the electrical service needs upgrades as a circuit breaker blew several times while we were there; trees need trimming before limbs break off and damage campers. But the water pressure and flow is great and the sewer system seems to be fine. The previous owners must have milked every cent of cash out of the park and ignored any maintenance. I suggest you discuss pool cleaning with the Star Plunge owners as their pools look and feel wonderful at ALL times. This is at least our 4th stay here and will likely be our last until the park is vastly improved. Sorry about that!

The people were great and unbelievably helpful, but the facilities are getting very rundown and the showers were being worked on during our stay.

When we inquired about our stay, we asked about electricity as we were bringing a dog and we’re concerned about the heat when we were not there at the camper. Electricity went off one time the first night and five times throughout the second day of our stay. This did not allow us to leave the dog in the camper With confidence that electricity would stay on. Tristan, the manager was very responsive and positive once we notified him of the electrical outage. It seems that the middle row is an old electric system and is prone to go out.

Clean and quiet campground. Loved the hot springs, but would have enjoyed it a little warmer. The campground team was very friendly, enjoyed visiting with them. We would definitely come back ! So beautiful there !!

Location needs some sprucing up, but the staff was wonderful. Nice relaxing hot springs pool.

Enjoyed the mineral pools tremendously. Small things could be updated or painted but sites were good, and having the pools offsets the small stuff.

Simply because the new owner deserves the five stars. Tristan from sun up to sun down and beyond, is working tirelessly to return this campground to the gold mine it deserves to be. And IT WILL BE AGAIN with Tristan’s hard work, and our support by making it a camping destination this summer and in the years to come. The three mineral pools are gorgeous and clean, and of course super warm. The new showers are beautiful. The camp host is super friendly and can be seen working hard all day to make our stay fantastic.

No WiFi. The power pole was very unstable. Looks like there has been no upkeep in a very long time.

It's best to remember this is a natural hot springs, so with that it brings a lot of slimy growth in the pools. The pool temperature was good. The shower rooms were challenging to use as there is no where to keep your towel or clothes dry. The camp ground is mostly dirt with spots close together. The picnic tables are old, breaking down and could offer a lot of splinters. The train camp by (about 30 yards from camp) at 11:30pm and 3:30am. There is no where to let your dog off leash. Staff was kind and welcoming.

So many things are inadequate. Even the supposed highlight of the campground, the hot water pool, was in a poor condition. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

Ownership was very accommodating when we requested a different location due to watering issues. Very friendly and helpful. Quiet campground (caveat: it was 100 degrees so not much action). Pool was delightful!

Great pools. Quite and relaxing!
