Fountain of Youth RV Park — Reviews

Pool is great. Campground itself was nothing to write home about but traveling through one night worked just fine. Site was long enough for 34 ft 5th wheel and long bed pickup. Train at 0430 was a lovely surprise too

Laundry was not working.

The pool was not very well kept. We looked at it and decided to go to another hot springs site to relax. We did not like the condition of the Fountain of Youth pool. We were welcomed by the owners and given very good directions to our site. I know they are trying to improve the conditions there, and our site was clean and full service. They get night marks for their WiFi, which exceeded all the other campgrounds we used on our trip.

Thermopolis is a cool little town with a fascinating history. Fountain of Youth RV park is pretty basic but has access to a large hot springs pool that made the stay great. Be warned that the smell of sulfur permeates the campsite.

We would give the hot spring pools 5 stars. They were crystal clear and refreshing. The campsite was nice but the facilities had a lot to be desired. The bathrooms were mostly clean. The separate showers didn’t have a dry area or hooks to hang your clothes. And most were locked I think by accident by previous users.

We really enjoyed our stay - it was one of the most unexpectedly awesome places we stayed. We were surprised we felt so rejuvenated as we continued our trip! We hope to come back sometime to visit again and see the improvements.

Love it every time there! They’ve recently updated the women’s bathrooms too, which is nice!

After 11 years, I came back to my families traditional summer place. So many fond memories and to see that only small improvements have been done. Still all my classic favorite things are just the same. We’ve already started looking at when the next weekend we can return is because this needs to be our families getaway.

Campground was easy to get to and quiet. The lady working was nice and friendly. The pool was relaxing. Showers and bathrooms were clean and newly remodeled. Wasn’t expecting the sulfur smell from the mineral hot spring but nonetheless would stay again.

The electric outlet was reverse polarity according to my tester. That is very dangerous. I used the 120 volt outlet instead of the 30 amp. Other than that, the stay was awesome.

Fountain of youth is our go to spot to stay while staying in thermopolis. We love swimming in the hot springs.

The front desk person couldn't find my reservation with the # my name or the confirmation email. Said it looks like our email but your not here. Eventually found it. Some random lady kept telling me things I Eventually assumed she works there but I'm still not sure. Said they just cleaned the pool but it had this gross foam on top not sure why. $90 for 1 night was kinda overpriced in my opinion.

Rustic but oh the hot springs were wonderful! Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, a little too short!

The showers need some work, dirty floor with a wad of hair and no hooks or curtains so your stuff will just get wet. The hot springs were awesome, if we were going to come through here we would stay again, it was just a little run down.

We really enjoyed the place and the pools. The reason for the average rating is because the women’s bathroom was always locked and only porta potties available. Also the advertised WiFi didn’t make it to all points of the RV park.
