Gladstan RV Park — Reviews

It was so poor that we did not return for our second night, yet paid for it. Our rig was hit by an errant golf ball. No shade trees, poor restrooms, and showers, mostly for the golfers. I realize I signed an agreement saying that the RV park was not responsible for golfers and that the golfers would have to be identifiable and I would have to settle with them. I wonder if the golfers have to sign the same agreement to play. Hard to find directions were not clear how to get there Failed to give the name of the street on which the cul-de-sac opens up into an entrance to the park no check-in process directions say not to go to the clubhouse but then contradict themselves and say to go to the clubhouse to check in no Campground host nothing but just sites With gravel and grass

The park is surrounded by a lovely golf course. At dusk many deer come down from the hills and are seen on the golf course as well as into the RV park. The park was quiet and clean. But what people need to understand is it is only a park with full hookups. There are no other services there. No office, store, laundry, or what you would normally find in a RV campground resort. But for the price, it was a nice day. We enjoyed the evenings watching the golfers and the wildlife. And there was a really great paved bike trail about 15 minutes away that we thoroughly enjoyed, Spanish Fork River Trail.

Great place to stay. Could be a bit more level and adjust the sprinklers so they hit the grass on the golf course and not on the campsites.

Overpriced. Burnt grass. Payson city needs to change their approach. Charge a little less, take care of their Seniors and the place would fill up. Bathrooms need updating. There were only four rigs there on Saturday. Take a hint. Not a great value . Comparable rates have modern facilities and nicer showers and laundry.

Bathrooms could be better; directions are difficult to follow - a map would make it easier to find (or larger signs) View was amazing, sites were easy to hookup

Everything was great except the men's shower. The drain was plugged so the water got backed up when showering. Also there was nothing in the bathroom to hang my clothes.

We enjoyed our stay at Gladstan. The check in is online, so we were able to pull right into our spot and get going. We wish the spots were more level and that there were more picnic tables (only two were there, and they were taken), but we will stay there again.

Very clean well kept, even if restroom/shower could use some updating. We were in site #3 which was quite level. I did notice some very unlevel sites closer to the other side and through the middle of the park. There is a VERY long list of rules. We don't have issues with that but there was a very rowdy bunch in the middle of the park that didn't think the rules were for them and they were partying on Wayne until 2 AM ish, but nothing was done about it. We golfed the back 9 without having a reservation late in the day and it was beautiful! Lot's of deer and other critters come out at dusk. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful pull through grass sites. The view of the mountain and the golf course was fabulous.

It was beautiful but the signs to get there are tiny. The sights are not level. Also woken up at 6:30am by tee times being called. Then at 7:30 a worker decided it was important to mow the grass directly next to our camper.

Super quiet. Not many other RVs. It was up in the foothills. The golf course is beautiful. ESW is available for all sites. Sites are long. Grass area is between each site. There was a National Gran Fondo bike race in Payson and the RV park was 3.5 mi from the start. Clarification is needed how to find the entrance to the park. The actual address is 435 N Sunbrooke Drive off Olympic Drive. The sign indicating the RV park location is very small and not noticeable. That address needs to be added to the web page. The website address is the actual golf course entrance. Very difficult to maneuver an RV trailer or "A" class. Check in is online. No host is on site. No other amenities available. Close to Payson.

The campsite itself is very nice, peaceful and clean. Most of the sites are not level so much so that our MH Jacks were unable to bring it to a level position. There was NO host, customer service or help with any issues that arose. The GPS took us to the Golf Club & Pro shop, and they were not at all interested in helping us find the RV park, the signage for the the park was minimal and hard to see from the road. I agree with a previous review, "The RV park was an afterthought and definitely not a priority to anyone onsite."

This is the most beautiful (even though it’s the worst designed and constructed) park we’ve ever stayed in.

I am giving 1 star for the beautiful view. Here’s the rest. The directions lead us to the golf course club house where you don’t want to bring a big rig into. After getting directions from a club house employee, we got lost again due to zero signage that we could see. After finding the campground, we found that the sites were very no very level at all and the pedestals were actually placed in the parking pad, making it very difficult to get our slide out. On our last day there, the sprinklers came on right next our camper and soaked our furniture. At least our computers were not sitting on our table. We work outside a lot. I asked one of groundskeepers if he turn off the sprinklers next to us so that we would be able to get into our camper. I was told that he has no control over that. I asked him if he worked there. He said yes. I asked him if he could make a phone call. He called his boss, hung up and told me that his boss couldn’t talk. I then called the club house three different times over the next hour. Each time I was told that someone might be able to check it out. The last time I told the club house that I didn’t want excuses, I wanted the issue solved. Y this time there was over 3 inches of water around our camper. After about an hour and a half, the sprinkler finally turned off. About another half hour later we heard someone slowly driving by on a cart. The groundskeeper I am guessing. Is water a big deal? No. But add in lack of customer service, poor sites and bad directions, $50 per night is a complete rip-off. We wish we could have left a good review.

The location has spectacular views and is very clean. My only complaints are that I wish they supplied WiFi and I would prefer the sites were more level (I had to use extra wheel leveling blocks to compensate for 15” hitch drop needed to be level).
