Golden Acres Park Nightly RV Campsite Agreement & Liability Waiver

By completing a reservation and/or entering Golden Acres Park ("Golden Acres"), located at 15150 Square Lake Trail N, Stillwater, MN 55082, the Renter and all members of their party agree to the following terms:

Liability Waiver

Camping, swimming, boating, and outdoor recreation involve inherent risks, including the risk of injury, illness, property damage, or death. By entering Golden Acres, guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with their stay.

Guests release and hold harmless Golden Acres Park, its owners, employees, and representatives from any claims, losses, damages, injuries, or liabilities arising from the use of campground facilities, except where prohibited by law.

Golden Acres is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

Guests authorize Golden Acres to obtain emergency medical treatment if necessary and accept responsibility for any resulting expenses.

Parents and legal guardians accept responsibility for minors in their party.

Guests consent to the use of photographs or videos taken at the campground for promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.

Reservations & Payments

• Full payment is due at the time of booking.

• Reservations are non-transferable.

• The reservation holder must be at least 21 years old and present a valid ID upon request.

• Golden Acres reserves the right to refuse service or cancel reservations at its discretion.

Check-In & Check-Out

• Check-In: 3:00 PM

• Check-Out: 12:00 PM

Holdover Occupancy

Guests must vacate their campsite by the published check-out time unless a late departure has been approved by management in writing.

Any RV, vehicle, or personal property remaining on a campsite after the reservation has ended without authorization may be deemed a holdover occupancy. Golden Acres Park reserves the right to charge for additional occupancy, terminate the reservation, deny future reservations, and arrange for the removal and storage of the RV, vehicle, or personal property at the reservation holder's expense.

The reservation holder is responsible for all reasonable costs, damages, fees, and losses incurred by Golden Acres Park as a result of an unauthorized holdover, including, but not limited to, towing, moving, storage, administrative costs, site downtime, refunds, credits, relocation costs, and other reasonable compensation provided to affected guests.

Cancellation Policy

• More than 30 days before arrival: Full refund less a $20 cancellation fee.

• 8–29 days before arrival: 50% refund or 75% reservation credit valid for 12 months.

• 7 days or less before arrival: No refund; eligible for a 50% reservation credit valid for 12 months.

• No-shows are not eligible for refunds or credits.

• No refunds or credits for early departures or weather-related cancellations.

Campsite Rules

• One RV and one family per site.

• Maximum occupancy: 5 people per site unless approved by management.

• All visitors must register with the office.

• Quiet hours are 11:00 PM–8:00 AM.

• Music must not be audible beyond 30 feet from your campsite.

• Speed limit is 5 MPH.

• Swimming is at your own risk. No lifeguard is on duty.

• Fireworks, firearms, and unauthorized motorized recreational vehicles are prohibited.

• Pets are welcome with approval, must remain leashed, and must not be disruptive or aggressive.

• Guests are responsible for cleaning up after pets and disposing of trash properly.

• Marijuana smoking is prohibited in public campground areas.

• Guests are responsible for the conduct of all members of their party and visitors.

Boat Slips

Guests using transient boat slips assume all risks associated with boating and docking. Boat owners are responsible for securing their boats and maintaining appropriate insurance coverage. Golden Acres is not responsible for theft, damage, weather-related losses, or accidents involving boats or watercraft.

SMS Messaging Terms

By providing a mobile phone number to Golden Acres Park, guests consent to receive text messages related to reservations, campground operations, lodging and campsite stays, customer service inquiries, account notifications, and other transactional communications.

Message frequency varies based on guest interactions with Golden Acres Park. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.

Guests may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. For assistance, reply HELP or contact the office directly.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.

Golden Acres Park does not sell, rent, share, or disclose mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared only with service providers necessary to operate reservation systems, communication platforms, and campground services.

SMS communications are intended for customer service, reservation management, operational notifications, and guest support.

Violations

Failure to comply with campground rules or these Terms and Conditions may result in fines, immediate removal from the campground, termination of the reservation without refund, denial of future reservations, and/or removal of any RV, vehicle, or personal property remaining on the premises. The reservation holder is responsible for all fines, damages, unpaid charges, and any other reasonable costs incurred by Golden Acres Park as a result of such violations.

By completing a reservation, providing contact information, checking in, or remaining on campground property, the Renter acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, including the SMS Messaging Terms, Privacy Policy, and campground rules.
