Take a half a mile hike up a dirt road to a second lookout with expansive views of the Adirondack mountains. Located only 20 minutes to the village of Lake George and 40 minutes to Saratoga. The property is located on the Champlain Canalway bike trail, also known as the Empire State Trail, which offers 750 miles of bike trails connecting New York City to Canada and Buffalo. Quiet, VERY clean, I didn’t get in until after the office was closed and I was gone both mornings before the office opened so I didn’t meet anyone. It was nice to just do my thing and not have to worry. I don’t search places for the amenities so I can’t comment on that, I noticed that the bathrooms had been cleaned in between my two nights. The sign in the bathroom for the things happening locally for the week was a great touch. The sounds of nature at night were so amazing! I don’t normally go back to places as I always try new places but I will 100% stay here again if I’m in the area.
