Gunsmoke RV Park — Reviews

Rated4.0out of 5Great!
A nice place to stay for a day or two. Friendly host, who gave me a shaded site when it was 93 degrees, in October. I would return here.

Site was clean and everything worked. Nothing wrong with it just older park with older facilities.

The facilities were great but the trains that went by in the middle of the night blaring their horns were not.

The pool was not available due to equipment issues. There is very little shade and it was hot.

The pool was slimey and gross. The ladies showers smelled like mildew when you walked in the bath house and 2 of the 3 shower stalls were unclean. If we had know the area better we would not have stayed but were on vacation. A total disappointment when we thought this would be a fun place to stay

We had no real complaints but the sites were very close together and also campers didn't leash their dogs. The camper parked behind us, dogs used our site to do their business. My husband ended up picking up after one of their dogs. Road noise was constant. Would recommend the train ride. It was a great experience! Would camp their again.

I only stayed for a quick stop while on my way. The front office was great in sending me the campground map with arrows to get me to my site clearly shown, as I was arriving after dark Didn't get to use any of their facilities but the campground was clean and neat with a cute western theme.
