This place is run like a military encampment. From the moment you pull up, they have sentries stationed in golf carts to radio back to the office to clear you, but this is once you're already in! Once we got cleared for check in, we were "greeted" by a very unfriendly clerk and were promptly chastised for choosing an "RV" site (when they were categorized as RV/Tent sites). We didn't choose the site, it was chosen for us based on the criteria we entered. After being berated and spoken down to, we were allowed to start setting up. The entire time, the Hadley's Point enforcers were watching, waiting in their carts, for someone to break a rule or look the wrong direction.
If you're into that kind of thing, this place is for you. The campground is well kept, and the price reflects that. But if you're looking for a relaxing location without fear of being dragged off to the woodland gulag, pass on this one.
