Hadley's Point Campground — Reviews

Large, very friendly, family run campground. On the bus line. Lots of recent improvements including new bath houses, new office, new asphalt roads and laundry house. Gravel, pretty level campsites for the RVs. Tent sites had more trees and privacy. Big playground filled with kids while we were there (end of June). Nice pool. Full hookups at our site. Can’t say enough good things. Especially when riding the town bus, I saw some of the other campground which didn’t even compare.

Campground was very clean, staff and campers are all very friendly. I will say that site D21 is very close to the site next to it. I don’t mind it but there are a few more private campsites within the grounds.

Clean facilities including camp site, rest room and showers. Very quiet and convenient to Bar Harbor and Ellsworth.

We booked this campground last minute. It more than met our needs. Great proximity to ANP & Bar Harbor. Greatly appreciated the pool as we were there during the heatwave. Good electric as everyone was using their A/C’s and the volts on the electric post stayed within the range to properly run A/C. Don’t forget to visit HADLEY’s Point Beach down the way. I took 1 star off the rating for charging 2 quarter for 7 min showers and laundry was a bit expensive at $5.50 to wash&dry a load.

The campground was so nice, everything was clean and organized! The staff was so friendly! The new showers were so nice and the pool was refreshing on the hot days!! We had a wonderful stay!

B-31 was a perfect site for us. Close to the bathroom, shade but also secluded. WiFi and phone reception was excellent so we could keep in touch with our grandkids. My only complaint is the restrooms need a shelf near the sink for toiletries and the showers need more hooks for clothes.

Everything was great with check in and staff were really friendly and welcoming. But we were supposed to have Internet access ant our tent site. Apparently it is too far away and I always had to walk up to the path. I would have like to use it inside our tent too.

Good and clean facilities, great location close to ANP, Bar Harbor and towns . The campground is away from main roads, so there is not traffic noise, it is quiet and pleasant

Wow, super clean, great restrooms, and showers. Super accommodating, even delivered firewood. Charged reasonable rates for the wood also. I would rate higher if I could, enjoy you stay.

From the second we pulled up, we were greeted with friendly staff. We were guided to our spot and repeatedly asked if there was anything else we needed. Hookups were all in great condition and the facility is very well kept. The bathrooms, showers and laundry were great. We didn't use the pool but a few people were in and enjoying themselves. The place was quiet at night

Sites were well marked, level and roads were newly paved. Bathroom and laundry were spotless. The owner was very nice and helpful. Great people showing us to the site.

Beautiful camp ground. Obviously just renovated. The roads recently paved and the sights freshly graveled and level. The showers were all new and clean. The staff friendly. We were there just before the season got into full swing and the place was 40 to 50 percent full. We stayed for a week. It was nice and quiet. Great location. Close to Acadia park. Only a short drive to Bar Harbor. Could not have been a nicer stay. Hopefully we can book another visit soon.

Wonderful staff, clean and private showers/toilets. Newly paved roads made it easy to navigate the campground. We will definitely be going back ASAP!
