I really love that it’s right on the shore of Lake Superior. I could see and hear the lake from my tent! Reservation and check in was super easy. I reserved the wrong campsite and they fixed it no problem. The camp host let me borrow his tent stakes that were better for sand. Bathrooms and campground were clean. I also liked being within walking distance to Herbster and about 10-15 minutes drive to Cornucopia and Port Wing. I’ll be back for sure and stay longer.
